The Cultural Fair
Who: Everyone! Or as close to that as possible, please. \o/
What: The Cultural Fair
When: April 25th-26th, though the earlier set-up days (22nd, 23rd, and keeping everything dry on the 24th) are also encouraged to help get a feel for it
Where: All around the town square
Summary: Also here.
Rating: ... is this a thing?
Note: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier. Work was probably started for it on the 22nd-23rd for labor purposes, sheltering things from the weather on the 24th, and the actual Fair is on the 25th-26th, so using any of those dates and figuring out where your characters are helping would be good. CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth.
I'll leave the descriptions up to you all as there probably isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about it. Think of it as something on a much smaller scale than the festival from a year ago, definitely, but how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. That said there are plenty of unique sights, so enjoy browsing! Thank you!
(Also, please add your name tags!)

The Wasteland booth!
Whenever there's nobody near the stand, the cow will use its tail to ring a convenient bell and attract attention. As for Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, he is standing behind the booth, ready to take questions.]

Azusa Miura's Luceti Idol Debut ♥♥♥♥!!
Hello, everyone! Welcome to the S.O.S. Brigade's Cultural Exchange, and thank you all for coming to see me today. My name is Azusa, and I'd like to perform for you today...I've told many of you that I'm an idol, but today, I'd like to show you what I can do. Are you ready?
[She'll wait for applause or the crowd to settle before getting into position and letting the music start. On the 25th, she'll sing READY!!, a song about being an idol and working hard. On the second day, she'll sing a song about being an idol again, CHANGE!!!!. It's complete with an outfit that lights up mid-song! The stage even has lighting and music, thanks to the works of the SOS Brigade. She'll start to close each performance the same way as well.]
Well, what did you all think? I couldn't have done it without the help of everyone in the S.O.S. Brigade, so please thank Haruhi-chan, Leon-kun, and Shiki-chan as well!
[And don't forget to grab a t-shirt on your way out!]
[ooc; Specify which performance you saw! Lyrics for the second song are here, just...assume they translate well into English because lol Luceti and languages.]

Barsburg
and decent visual references are sparse in canon) for the culture festival thanks to the latest mission, but it's something of an empty victory for him. The display itself has a map of the Barsburg Empire, as well as a couple of sketches of a dark-haired woman meeting with a cloaked figure with a skull for a face, entitled, "The Story of Eve and Verloren".While he waits for people to approach the booth, Mikage is spinning a circlet of blue zaiphon around his hand, occasionally flicking it in the hawkzile's direction, causing the dragon to snap it out of the air. He'll be listlessly playing this game for most of the festival.]

He's also got drawings of symbols familiar to those who pay close attention to the symbols in the teleporters -- in fact, they're basically copies of some parts of the symbols, just to allude to the fact that the teleporters are from his world.
He's also brought a few weapons (an axe, a short sword, and a metal rod) to showcase his and Sokka's combined work, elemental weaponsmithing. There's even a little wooden dummy for demonstration purposes.
Leon himself looks kinda restless. Standing around by the booth gets rather boring.]

Berk Booth
At his table, there are wire-and-metal renditions of several types of dragons that live on Berk, including a Gronkle, a Deadly Nadder, a Hideous Zippleback, and a Monstrous Nightmare. They're not much more than copper frames, but they're highly detailed with hand-drawn images of the dragons themselves done by Hiccup's own hand beside them.
The library's copy of the Dragon Book is also there, for the perusal of any who come by. On a backdrop behind him, a handful of Viking axes and shields hang that he brought from the smithy.
Hiccup will be wearing traditional viking garb, including his Breast Hat. Oh, and Toothless is there. Did I mention that? Of course Toothless is there. He is Exhibit A of Hiccup's cultural display, and there's a pack full of fish to keep him enticed and well-behaved. That doesn't mean he's entirely pleased to be here, but eh. Could be worse.
He'll demonstrating his fire-breathing prowess later on. This may or may not be at Hiccup's instigation.]

Melfes booth!
However, it's still a colourful, cheerful place, despite having something of a half-finished air to it. There are lots of enthusiatically drawn pictures of various locations, such as the main town of Werites Beacon, the Man-Eating Ruins, and various meadows, forests, and mountains of the Legacy. There are also smiling pictures of herself, Norma, Fenimore, Jay, Stella, Walter, and Sophie (though the little girl has yet to set foot on the Legacy), and several more people longterm residents of Luceti might recognise...but they might not, too.
There are some attempts at Relares, the language of the Ferines, copied out from Norma's study notes, but the two Ferines in Luceti would, um, probably have trouble not laughing at the sight. Hey, she tried.
And, of course, there's the baked goods. They're a big deal on the Legacy, and Grune has baked three kinds: butter rolls, muffins, and melon bread. Don't they smell delicious?
Grune herself is dressed in her canon outfit, beaming away at everyone who stops by. So why not pay a visit? ♥]

Also, I was almost completely sure he still had my jacket.
"Hello, Jack."
I waved with a gloved hand- the one he had shot, though it had fortunately been restored to its original burnt-but-unshot state when the shift wore off- and strolled up to the stall.
"And what sort of hustle might we be running today?"

Captain Jack Sparrow.
Yup.
She's quite a sight for the eyes, all 5"11 feet of her, built like an Amazon, and tattoed. The back of her right hand sports whirling loops and spirals that vanish under the sleeve of her jacket, there's a serpantine design on the left side of her neck, and whirls and barbs visible, flickering above her neckline and trailing downwards. Though even with all that, the first thing a person might notice would be the brightly dyed gradient of her hair at the tips.
"So what's this - the old shell game?"

Romania Booth!
Among other things there is pictures with small excerpts on some folklore, Balaur, Vântoase, and even Rohmani as a few examples. There's also a map of Romania as well. Along the some Martisor tailsmans strung up around the booth to finish off the decorations. Helios will be sitting behind said booth ready to take your questions. If anyone knows about culture of a place it's this man. So come one, come all, ask him all the things!
He'll also be taking breaks every once in awhile to check up on the other booths as well. But for the most part Helios will be around to answer your questions! ]

The World of Avatar... booth thing
But there is also a tent done up specifically in Southern Water Tribe style, with skins and other hunting trophies hanging from cords on the side.
Next to the tent and in front of the booth is a table where they will be serving traditional foods! Come try stewed sea prunes, flaming fire flakes, imitation tiger-seal jerky, they managed to find some leechi nuts, Katara makes kickass lemonade, they've conned Zuko into making tea, and there is, of course, fried dough. Because unfried dough is just disgusting.
Of course, Momo and Hawky are around and about too, proud representatives of a world with somewhat... distinct animals. Careful, they might be hungry - you weren't really going to eat that, were you?

The Mysticalman's Amazing Suicune Booth
Luceti, have a very flashy man standing behind an equally flashy booth. Blue and purple silk ribbons, diamond patterns, a great sign spelling out "SUICUNE" on top... It's all incredibly tacky, but you might find it is not, in fact, the most memorable thing about the stand.
Because on the stand are eye-gougingly bad drawings of Suicune. No, really. They all look more or less like this
. And judging by the signatures? Yes, Eusine is the one who drew them. He looks incredibly proud of himself, too.
But that's not all there is to it, fortunately! There's also a pile of pamphlets (all handwritten in a pretty cursive font, since Luceti is seriously lacking in copiers) detailing the story of how the legendary beasts came to be. Though it might be a bit hard to follow, considering Eusine's tendency to drown everything in purple prose.
You just can't win against a fruit of this magnitude. Flee before it's too late.]
The Mysticalman's Amazing Suicune Booth
[And he knows literature. He's looking at this pamphlet (did this guy handwrite them all, seriously? He knows he's heard someone confirm that there is a copier here... somewhere... he thinks) but this just does not make sense. Mostly because it's being bogged down with bad writing]

Booth - Aselia / pre-fair set up
[On the earlier days, Raine will be supervising most of the setup of the booths, and making sure that things are covered up before the thunderstorm on the 24th. Really, she wants to avoid getting caught in that weather, but she wants to make sure that everything was attended to in time.]
25th-26th
[Raine will be mostly going around checking on the other fair booths and making sure they're running smoothly and have enough supplies. However, the Aselian world will be represented by a booth of their own!
First off, it will feature a certain green creature that some may be familiar with, as he is sometimes taken on walks around the forest or village accompanying Raine or possibly Kratos.
Speaking of Kratos, he's here as well, and in fact will likely be the one people see the most by the booth if Raine isn't nearby.
The booth may also feature Sheena, Emil, or Regal as well at some intervals. Feel free to approach any of them specifically, or approach the booth and see who's around.
There will be samples of recipes (presented by either Regal or Emil, who is dressed as the Wonder Chef), a map of Aselia, and information on each of the elemental summon spirits (Efreet - Fire, Celsius - Ice, Volt - Lightning, Gnome - Earth, Undine - Water, Sylph - Wind, Shadow - Darkness, Luna and Aska - Light) for those who are interested.
Also, Yuan, though not present, has donated his remote-controlled miniature rheaird to the cause. There may be small demonstration of it, but mostly it serves as an example of technology.]

True Cross Booth
There are a few text books open on the booth as well, showcasing the sorts of things that students would learn at True Cross, the standard schedule a student should be expected to adhere to and some medical texts as well which Yukio picked up from the library.
... Oh. Also Rin is here too. He has sushi. It wouldn't be fair to have a True Cross booth and not cover Rin's cooking talent which drew in a stupid amount of cash back home... But come on, you're here for the educational side of things and not the food, right?]

Day 1
He isn't showing it, but he's actually intrigued by all of this. Different cultures that aren't just variations of the kings and castles theme is new for him. So this is a nice way to take a look around. He'll probably be found getting a little too distracted looking at stuff. Catch him anywhere at any booth or in between them.]
[Shibuya Booth]
And it shows. The booth itself is mostly filled with various fashions from her home world (fashions that people would often find in her shop, even), but she managed to snag some of Neku's art that resembles a bit of something like CAT's work to hang along a clothesline in front. Included with the artwork is a handdrawn map of Shibuya and the districts around it. There are also handdrawn pictures of buildings such as 104 and Towa Records.
There's a small stand with food, mostly different types of ramen. Somewhere in the background, she rigged music to play. She'll be hanging out in her booth all day, mostly showing off when asked to explain things, sewing on new projects, and occasionally she'll wander off and the booth has a sign saying "Be back soon! ♥"]

[He said, sliding on over. His several earrings, bracelets, and rings are symbolic of tokyo fashion. So's the rest of his outfit, really]
