When: April 25th-26th, though the earlier set-up days (22nd, 23rd, and keeping everything dry on the 24th) are also encouraged to help get a feel for it

Note: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier. Work was probably started for it on the 22nd-23rd for labor purposes, sheltering things from the weather on the 24th, and the actual Fair is on the 25th-26th, so using any of those dates and figuring out where your characters are helping would be good. CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth.

I'll leave the descriptions up to you all as there probably isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about it. Think of it as something on a much smaller scale than the festival from a year ago, definitely, but how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. That said there are plenty of unique sights, so enjoy browsing! Thank you!

I think so! Not a sword, but maybe a knife or something else cool like that, then your dancing would be a lot better. [That way it's more like fighting and fighting stuff is always cool.] You don't have to though, it's just a suggestion. [A dumb suggestion, don't listen to him.]

Hmmm...I wonder what Ritsuko-san might say? I'll have to give it some thought. I wouldn't want to accidentally hurt someone.

Yeah you would want to avoid that, and hurting yourself too. There are a lot of moves I saw up there that would really hurt if you were holding a sword. I bet Ritsuko would say it would be okay if you did a fighting themed performance!

Hmm...do you now? Ritsuko-san does always say we should try new things...I'll give it a try for you sometime, Caius-kun.

Did Melaka show up? She knew you were dancing at this fair so I was expecting her to be here. Didn't notice her when I came in though.

It's nothing, Caius-kun.

[And then. Ah. She frowns. Maybe he didn't hear...?]

No, Melaka didn't show up. She isn't here anymore.

You're telling me she went home before she had the chance to see you? ... That's stupid, why would she do something like that? She must have known you were here, it's not like she could forget or anything.

[Yeah he didn't quite get that. If she's back in her apartment then maybe he'll go ask why she went home early or something.]

[She places a hand on Caius's head and ruffles his hair. She's never done that to, well, anyone before.]

She's not here anymore, Caius-kun.

[Blink... Not even his dad ruffled his hair before. For a moment he thinks about pulling his head back but reconsiders when he hears Azusa repeat herself.]

So you mean she's gone? I uhm.... Sorry Azusa. I didn't know.

[She withdraws her hand anyways! It was mostly a distraction to give her a second to reply, anyways.]

There's no need to apologize, Caius-kun. She's where she's happiest right now.

Even so, she was a good friend to you. Melaka might be happy now but you can't be... Right? I mean you've lost the person you left food for and everything.

[You can't be happy Azusa. Sorry.]

I'll be fine, Caius-kun. I'll miss her every day, but I can be happy knowing that she's where she most wants to be, too.

Goodness...am I really? I never thought of it like that.

Well yeah! There's no way I'd get up in front of a ton of people and spin around like nothing is wrong. It's not strong like fighting things strong, it's... Eeh, emotionally strong.

[But she seems happy enough on the outside!]

Maybe when something is wrong is the best time to sing, Caius-kun. It's what I love doing, after all. But thank you.

Yeah well I probably only understand what you mean because you started teaching me stuff. I probably would have missed picking up on that without your help.

Huh? Yeah, of course I'm liking them. If I didn't then I wouldn't bother showing up in the first place. Why, are you going to stop giving me lessons or something?

No, no, of course not, Caius-kun. I've just never been a teacher before...I was hoping they weren't too boring for you.

Oh, right. I think your lessons are just fine as they are now. if they were boring then I would have told you about it when we first started.

Sounds good to me! Don't know how you plan to make them even better than they are now, but if they're going to somehow get more exciting then I'm all for it.
