When: April 25th-26th, though the earlier set-up days (22nd, 23rd, and keeping everything dry on the 24th) are also encouraged to help get a feel for it
Where: All around the town square

Note: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier. Work was probably started for it on the 22nd-23rd for labor purposes, sheltering things from the weather on the 24th, and the actual Fair is on the 25th-26th, so using any of those dates and figuring out where your characters are helping would be good. CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth.

I'll leave the descriptions up to you all as there probably isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about it. Think of it as something on a much smaller scale than the festival from a year ago, definitely, but how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. That said there are plenty of unique sights, so enjoy browsing! Thank you!

I guess you could call it that. Haven't you heard of the Kyoshi Warriors?

[...Oh, right. She nods, after a brief moment of thought]

Yeah, this is their uniform! The Kyoshi Warriors are from my world. I was actually the original Kyoshi. [He quickly adds.] In a past life!

[godbent]

[...] So you were a woman in a past life?

[savedtheworld]

[He blushes slightly.]

Yeah. ...A few previous lives, actually.

[godbent]

...And you remember them?

[savedtheworld]

Nope. I have met their spirits back home, and sometimes they show me their memories.

[godbent]

[...! Okay she's scooting back at her table and pointing to a chair there. Sit, sit!]

Tell me more!

[savedtheworld]

[Aang skedaddles towards a chair somewhat nervously - after grabbing another cookie.]

Like what? About one of my past selves?

[godbent]

Sure! Or whatever else you can tell me!

[savedtheworld]

[He bites into the cookie as he thinks it over, not really that familiar with any type of psychotherapy beyond Sokka's attempts and a few shadow Robin memories.]

I'm not sure what you want to know. But if you want to know about my past selves... I could start with Avatar Roku! He came right before me.

[godbent]

Well him, or you could explain how you know about your past selves?

[She sits too, crossing her legs, which looks.. more silly in this suit than if she was wearing a skirt or something]

[He opens his mouth to speak, then closes it to finish chewing, and then he starts talking once the crumbs have been safely swallowed.]

Oh sure, wherever you want to start. I guess I haven't explained about the Avatar. In my world, an Avatar is born who's supposed to act like a mediator to keep balance in the world. Whenever an Avatar dies, he or she is reborn as someone from another nation. I'm the latest Avatar, and one of my abilities to connect to the Spirit World. And that's where the spirits of my past lives all are, and I can talk to them when advice. A few times, they even possessed me.

[godbent]

[There's a short mutter about invasiveness, but mostly she's paying attention still, raptly.]

[He doesn't hear this and wouldn't understand the concept anyway. So he continues.]

Roku's the one I've talked to the most, because like I said, he's the one before me. He's tall, pretty old and has a beard. The Avatar's reincarnations go in a cycle between the four nations. I'm an Airbender, and Roku was a Firebender. I didn't really put much thought into it, since he was my mentor, even though the Fire Nation were our enemies. But he once had me come to an island where his spirit showed me all these memories from throughout his life.

[godbent]

So you see the memories or lived the memories?

[savedtheworld]

I saw them. It was like he was projecting his memory all around us. He showed me his life and how he became an Avatar for the Fire Nation... and his story also showed me the beginnings of my world's big war. It was the Fire Nation that started the war, and it was led by Fire Lord Sozin. But Roku was Sozin's best friend, and I saw when he started to learn about Sozin's ambitions. He tried to stop him, but... he held back because they were friends.

[godbent]

[...Slightly contrived. But it's interesting, nontheless. Haruhi nods at this, keeping attentive to the story and details. No reason to interrupt it yet]

[Pause, cookie bite.]

And he showed me how he died. It was years later, when he was old and had a family. Sozin came to help him stop a volcano. And it was like when they were friends again, but... Sozin betrayed him and left him to die on the volcano. And then... Roku was even able to show me myself after I was born. It was... really weird.

[godbent]

[...] Whoa, that's really messed up actually.

That I saw myself as a baby? I think I liked that part.

[godbent]

You did, why?

[savedtheworld]

It was the first time I saw what I was like as a baby. And... I was raised by the air nomads, who had us all raised at different temples by one monk who would act as a mentor. So... that memory was also the most I saw of the people who gave birth to me. [Pause.] It was really quick.

[godbent]

...Oh, so that's- ...Yeah, that makes sense.

[He's quick to move along.]
