Note: Booths can be labeled as separate comments! Just put [booth name] or something in the subject line so people can find top level comments easier. Work was probably started for it on the 22nd-23rd for labor purposes, sheltering things from the weather on the 24th, and the actual Fair is on the 25th-26th, so using any of those dates and figuring out where your characters are helping would be good. CHARACTERS ARE WELCOME TO TAG THE LOG FOR INTERACTING WITH OTHERS, NOT JUST BOOTHS, SO FEEL FREE TO TAG IN! Also a character who might not know what's going on is welcome to walk by and question it! And so forth.

I'll leave the descriptions up to you all as there probably isn't much that is too uniform about the displays, as everyone is encouraged to be creative about it. Think of it as something on a much smaller scale than the festival from a year ago, definitely, but how hard the characters worked isn't something I could define for each of you. That said there are plenty of unique sights, so enjoy browsing! Thank you!

I saw them. It was like he was projecting his memory all around us. He showed me his life and how he became an Avatar for the Fire Nation... and his story also showed me the beginnings of my world's big war. It was the Fire Nation that started the war, and it was led by Fire Lord Sozin. But Roku was Sozin's best friend, and I saw when he started to learn about Sozin's ambitions. He tried to stop him, but... he held back because they were friends.

[...Slightly contrived. But it's interesting, nontheless. Haruhi nods at this, keeping attentive to the story and details. No reason to interrupt it yet]

[Pause, cookie bite.]

And he showed me how he died. It was years later, when he was old and had a family. Sozin came to help him stop a volcano. And it was like when they were friends again, but... Sozin betrayed him and left him to die on the volcano. And then... Roku was even able to show me myself after I was born. It was... really weird.

[...] Whoa, that's really messed up actually.

That I saw myself as a baby? I think I liked that part.

[godbent]

You did, why?

It was the first time I saw what I was like as a baby. And... I was raised by the air nomads, who had us all raised at different temples by one monk who would act as a mentor. So... that memory was also the most I saw of the people who gave birth to me. [Pause.] It was really quick.

[godbent]

...Oh, so that's- ...Yeah, that makes sense.

[He's quick to move along.]

Yeah, so... that was Roku's story. What else do you want to hear about?

About the woman you're cosplaying now? You said it was a woman, right?

[savedtheworld]

[He was thrown off for a second by the word "cosplay", but it wasn't hard to guess it was another modern term for what he was doing at the moment.]

Yeah! Her name's Kyoshi. She came before Roku, and she was from the Earth Kingdom. I haven't talked with her spirit much, and I don't know much about her background, but she was a lot more of a warrior. Especially compared with me and Roku. She was really harsh and... decisive.

Uh huh... [GO ON]

[First, he finishes his cookie.]

Her most well-known feat was when she faced Chin the Conqueror. He was going around, ravaging the Earth Kingdom and trying to, well, conquer it. But when they reached the area that Kyoshi protected, she stood her ground and used her Earthbending to split the area away so that it became an island. And she killed Chin at the same time. It more like an accident, but she told me it was as good as if she had.

[godbent]

[...] An accident?

Yeah... when Kyoshi split the land, Chin was standing at the edge, and he was really mad. The ground beneath him wound up crumbling, so he fell in the water and drowned. The land that she made became Kyoshi Island, and the Kyoshi Warriors were started in her honor.

[godbent]

Huh... [...Yeah that is sort of a technicality. Jeez] That's impressive.

She was an impressive Avatar. And that's most of what I know about her. Is there anything else about my world you want to hear about?

[godbent]

[...] No, I guess not.

[Are you impatient or something gosh]

Oh, alright then. It was nice talking to you. My name's Aang, by the way.

I'm Haruhi.

[a smile and she offers a hand]

[He stops for a moment as the name clicks in his head. Two conversations: one with Winry about her love life as an impartial observer, and than one with Sokka where he wondered how a boy could be transformed into a girl within Luceti and learned her name. This was Winry's... girlfriend? But then he puts on a smile and engages her in one of those handshakes.]

Nice to meet you, Haruhi.

Yeah, nice to meet you too.

[Shake. and nod]
