When: A hero doesn't care if this event last a whole ten days
Where: Everyone can blaze a hero's trail
Summary: It's that special time when the Malnosso collect all their recent experiments and apply them all at once to measure effectiveness. Although invaluable as research, it tends to leave the subjects looking just a bit mad.
Rating: Rated H for HEROIC

So there is a mod post and it pretty much tells you EVERYTHING you need to know. This is a mass log for people to comment around on if they don't want to make posts. Or even if they want to make posts anyway. There will be at least one more of these later in the event! ENJOY!

Does day 4 work?

[Firo's read enough of Claire's old books to recognize a storybook hero when he sees one. Or, at least, a guy who seems to think he's one. From what Firo's gathered about this place so far, this might not be such a strange occurrence. It's novel to him, though.

Fascinated, Firo starts trailing behind him, waiting to see what this guy's going to do. What nine year old wouldn't be curious?]

[By the fourth day, Ondorus is wrapping up the last of his quests. He returns to the village feeling and looking satisfied, walking down the streets and eventually arriving in the plaza, where he sits down at a bench.

He pulls a bag from beneath his cape and opens it, removing the contents and sorting through them - bottles of multicolored liquid, small rolls of cloth, and other small "treasures". And, probably of most interest: a pouch that clinks with coins when he sets it down, and a handful of glinting stones.

Doop doop doop just sorting my stuff over here...]

[That coin pouch is definitely interesting, and Firo's glad he decided to follow this guy. He hasn't figured out that money isn't used often in Luceti; if he had, he wouldn't believe it.

Firo moves closer, trying to be quiet. Will the mighty warrior sense his presence before Firo can act?]

[Nope. Not yet, at least - he's preoccupied with taking out a notebook and scribbling something down.]

[Good, good... Firo decides to abandon stealth and just go for it; the longer he stands around, the more time this guy has to notice him. He just hopes he can run away fast enough.

He darts over and grabs for the coin pouch, ready to run as soon as he has it in hand.]

[Ondorus turns his head when he hears the footsteps and slight clink - but doesn't react quickly enough, staring at Firo without realizing his intention in the moment it would take the boy to snatch up the bag and bolt.

Once he does run, though, he'll stand up abruptly with a startled noise.]

[Firo makes the mistake of glancing back when he hears Ondorus react, costing himself some valuable time in making his getaway. He speeds up; he's fast, considering he's an undersized kid, but Ondorus shouldn't have a very hard time of catching him if he chooses to give chase.]
