Summary: It's that special time when the Malnosso collect all their recent experiments and apply them all at once to measure effectiveness. Although invaluable as research, it tends to leave the subjects looking just a bit mad.

So there is a mod post and it pretty much tells you EVERYTHING you need to know. This is a mass log for people to comment around on if they don't want to make posts. Or even if they want to make posts anyway. There will be at least one more of these later in the event! ENJOY!

Any Day

[To hear about experiments happening is one thing. It's something else entirely to be out on an afternoon stroll and suddenly find yourself one of the original firebenders. In his case, a red dragon. Lucky for Iroh, he wasn't inside when the species change took effect or it'd have smashed the building.

For his part, the elderly firebender is enjoying this new form. It's a novel experience to fly, and fly on his own at that. While he's mildly depressed he cannot figure out how to indulge in his tea habit in this body, the ability to fly more than compensates for the loss.

Most days he goes out early to take in the sun while stretching his wings, over the village, then the lakes, the mountains, a small sea. Around midday, he experiments with bending as a dragon, something he'd never dreamed he could do, and finding his own skills that much more improved. Quite satisfying, really. After some actual practice, he'll settle down for a stretch out in the sun to warm himself.]

Day 6

[Roku had wandered off into the forest and down near south lake to enjoy a little bit of peace and quiet today. It was really odd for people to be telling him he had just been here yesterday, when he remembered being here many years ago, when he was much younger.

Perhaps this was just another experiment like they say, but it didn't seem like anything has changed to him...something to meditate on he suppose.

He brought with him a traveling tea set, so he could brew himself some tea while he was taking the time to reflect on things. Things that were happening here...and things that had happened back home.]

[Iroh's enjoying a nice stretch of his wings when he spots something familiar yet unexpected on the ground below. That certainly looks like Avatar Roku, as he was depicted throughout the Fire Nation, but he's not at all like the younger one he's expecting to see. He wonders if it is perhaps a trick of his eyes, or something stranger at work (like being a dragon isn't strange).

Then he spots it. The tea set. If he could salivate like this, he would. It's been a long week without any tea and surely the elder Avatar would share, wouldn't he?

Incoming dragon, in for a landing.]

[Roku was pouring himself a cup when he hears a strange, yet familiar whooshing sound from above. When he looks up to see, he finds himself having a visitor in the form of a dragon.

He stands, teacup in hand and instinctively thinking this was-] Fang? [...But no, a closer observation of the dragon's features told him this is a different dragon. Nevertheless he still smiles, unafraid of this unknown dragon's presence and speaking rather pleasantly.]

Ah, my mistake, you are someone new. Though it is always an honor to be in the presence of a dragon. [He bows respectively] I hope I am not intruding into your territory.

[Oh to be able to talk at the moment. Although the innate telepathy that comes with being a dragon is useful enough. Iroh manages to shake his head about the territory comment, and then thinks of himself quietly sipping a cup of tea in his old shop in Ba Sing Se.

Day 5

[And everyone kept telling him there were only two other dragons here! That red one surely isn't either of the ones he has met, which he's spotted on his way back towards the edge of the village. Without his regular dragon body, Draco doesn't have any immediate way of catching up with it, but he should at least try something.

And that something is, inevitably, clumsily scaling a building to a rooftop. How do these people do anything like this with a tail?! No matter, no matter, he's up there now.

There he'll wave his arms at Iroh, trying to flag him down.]

Hello! You there!

[Well that's an unusual sight. There's someone standing on the roof waving their arms. Perhaps he's stuck and needs assistance. Something that Iroh can easily do in this form!

He lands with grace on the roof and inclines his scaly head to the person. It's really the closest he can get to a polite bow like this.]

[Ha, he probably is and just doesn't realize it, because what is climbing back down off of this thing?

Draco returns the nod with one of his own.]

And I thought I had met the only other dragons here. [Then again, considering his own dilemma, that may still be true.] That is, if you are truly a dragon. I don't suppose you are, are you?

[teabending]

[Iroh shakes his head in the negative. He's not normally a dragon, despite the nickname attributed to him. He concentrates hard on projecting thoughts of himself (lean and trimmer than he is in reality) firebending.]

[DID SOMEONE SAY DRAGONS?! Dragon-Lin is happily flying around, taking advantage of the expanded range of movement her new form affords her, when all of a sudden she spots dragon!Iroh doing his firebending...somewhere.

Holy shit. Gurlfran is so jelly, u don't even kno bro. Why didn't she get cool abilities like that when she got turned into a dragon? She can spit fire a little, which admittedly is kind of nice and she still has her lightning abilities, but this looks a lot more awesome. And Iroh looks so much more impressive than she does. Rawr.

So hopefully Iroh won't mind a Dragon Kid perching nearby, watching him do his thang.]

[No, not at all. In fact he quite welcomes the company from the moment he notices her presence. Although Iroh's unsure if the other dragon is native to this place or another person like himself. Either way, the other seems to mean him no harm, so he resumes his basic forms. Even though his body is different, the moves are familiar to him and more powerful than he is used to. He'll have to work extra hard not to hit his audience by mistake.]

[Pao-Lin's a rapt audience, but she's also a mindful one -- after all, she nearly got fried earlier with a stray fireball from Roku. She'll adjust her position accordingly when it seems like things might get too dangerous, but she's not scared.

After a little more time spent watching Iroh, Pao-Lin decides she's going to try some of it for herself! Except with lightning, not fire, because strangely enough her dragon body has allowed her to retain her lightning powers. She flutters down to the ground, trying to find a good place to practice that still gives her a good view of Iroh. Once she's settled herself, she slowly begins to walk through what she remembers seeing of his firebending forms. Her electricity isn't as powerful as it was before, even given Luceti's power cap, but it might still be enough to catch Iroh's attention.]

[It most certainly is enough to get his attention. In fact, he's quite touched to see a young one attempting something so dangerous as lightning. It is an impressive skill to master and one that not even Zuko could ever manage. His own practice is halted so he can observe this newcomer for himself.]

Day 8

[ Hope you don't mind sharing the sky with another dragon, Iroh. Helios has been taking his newly turned dragonself out for flying lessons since waking up as on today. He at least has some experience with being a dragon from this event awhile back. He might twist and swerve in and out of the sky as breath in the fresh air. ]

[Nope, he doesn't mind one bit. In fact, it's quite nice to have another fellow (it is a fellow dragon if he's not normally one? ah well!) dragon to interact with. He ducks his head by way of greeting, then flies closer to check the other out.]

[folklorist]

[ Helios will look over at the other dragon something akin to a Chinese Western dragon in shape and form. He smiles, forgetting how toothy and dangerous that action actually looks, whoops and he holds up a clawed paw in greeting. ] A lovely view isn't it?

[ He's not sure if this dragon can speak or not but he's enjoying the company of a flight above the enclosure with someone. It's not everyday you get turned into a dragon and are able to fly around with another one after all. ]

[Iroh nods in agreement about the view, although true to the dragons of his world, he cannot speak. Not verbally. But he can communicate telepathically through mental pictures. It is enough to have good company, as Iroh is wont to enjoy life as it comes and he visualizes himself smiling to convey this to the other.]

Day 6

[dragoon_pride]

[Kain is in his own blue dragon-form, although his is much smaller and younger than Iroh. He's out for a flight, enjoying the sensation of flying through a nice, bright, open sky. He soars downward, noticing the outburst of flames. Is that... one of his own kind...?]

[Watch well, small one and you might learn a thing or two. Not that Iroh's unaware that he has an audience, but he's more intent on continuing his practice than calling the other out for gawking. As long as there's no threat, he does not mind if someone is watching him.]

[dragoon_pride]

[Good, because Kain is interested in seeing how this is done. He's still so young that he's not yet learned how to control his various breathing techniques. So for a good while, he's content just to watch Iroh... eventually, though, he tries to imitate the larger dragon's actions... with nothing happening, alas.]

[Ah yes, because this newcomer is not a firebender or something would come of his attempts. Iroh turns his head to watch in turn, curious about this young dragon and if it's a person like himself.]

Day 7

[Aang has just ended a meditation session when he sees a dragon overhead. It bears an uncanny resemblance to his own world's dragons. This is too curious to pass up. So he boards his air scooter and races along the ground in the shadow of the dragon, hoping to speak with him once he has landed.]

[teabending]

[Iroh first notices that he has company from the slight shift in the air currents nearby. It is the first time he's been enough in tune with his flight in this form to realize something has changed. He looks down to see an airbender riding along the ground on a ball of air like the Avatar. Has another airbender been found or brought?

Wasting no time, Iroh swoops down to satisfy his curiosity.]
