What: Everyone's been Shifted in their own way
When: A hero doesn't care if this event last a whole ten days
Where: Everyone can blaze a hero's trail
Summary: It's that special time when the Malnosso collect all their recent experiments and apply them all at once to measure effectiveness. Although invaluable as research, it tends to leave the subjects looking just a bit mad.
Rating: Rated H for HEROIC

[nephaery]

[On her way across the village to the fountain, a yellow-glowing fairy may pass right in front of Aang, in his line of sight. She wavers in the air a bit, bobbing up and down, because she is always on the lookout for birds.]

[appleforappa]

[He spies this mysterious sprite and stares in awe. Is that one of those spirits he's head about?]

H-hello!

[nephaery]

Oh-! Hello. [It's a child. She moves just a little closer, because children are known to try to grab at her and she's more fragile than usual this way.]

[appleforappa]

My name's Aang! Are you a spirit?

[nephaery]

My name is Nephry. ...I'm not a spirit, no. I'm a person - just stuck this way for a little while.

[appleforappa]

Hi Nephry! Why are you stuck like that? That sounds silly!

[nephaery]

It feels a little silly. Birds keep trying to eat me.

...But that's what happens here sometimes. I've gotten used to it, a little. Are you looking for someone, Aang?

[appleforappa]

[He blinks and nods.]

Yeah! I'm playing hide and seek with Katara. She's really good!

[nephaery]

Ah, so you're looking for her. Where might she hide?

[appleforappa]

I don't know! She's not around the house! She can be anywhere.

[He peers around curiously.]

[nephaery]

If you'd like, I'll try to help you find her.

[appleforappa]

You'd do that? Thanks a lot! [Pause] Is that fair?

[nephaery]

I think it is. You won't be able to hear me if I go very far away, so I can't very well go in a different direction to look for her, can I?
