Summary: Huffy Young Master Nightray grows a year older. Technically.

[Leo had never been any good at celebrating birthdays. Sure, he knew that cake was a good idea, and gifts obligatory (spending a year in a house full of children clued him in on this, granted), but when it came to making preparations, it was simply easier to leave it to Gilbert . Not all of it, of course, just-- the most important bits.

That's why the preparations are kept simple-- Elliot really wasn't the kind for huge parties anyway and this seemed appropriate. ]

[Oh hey. Talk about nostalgia...! Or maybe not so nostalgic since Elliot's last birthday was a year ago obviously. And that obviously isn't long enough to be considered nostalgic, right. Or something.

But yeah hi Yellow's here! And a little surprised to see that Leo is back and with long hair and glasses again, but whatever. She brought her Pokémon trio with her and is just going around to greet anyone she knows...! Oh, and of course, she has a sheet of paper in hand with yet another birthday drawing for Elliot on it. Yayayay.]

[Elliot's still kind of unsure of this whole birthday thing, not unlike last year, but for different reasons this time around! Still, that's not really the kind of thing you talk about on birthdays, so Elliot won't mention it—he'll just... act like this is a regular old birthday.

So when he sees Yellow, he makes his way over. Birthdays are still kind of embarrassing but she is his friend, so!]

A part of it. I'm afraid his adopted brother did most of the work. [smile smile smile] Are you a friend of Elliot's?

[...Oh. It takes Yellow a moment to answer that. When Yellow had arrived in Luceti, some people mentioned knowing and being friends with her from her previous visit, which she didn't remember. And now it's basically flipped around, with Leo being the one without memories. Welp. This is awkward. And possibly a little saddening too, but..

After a moment, she nods.] Um... Yeah. From the last time you were here. [a beat] Uh.. well, my name's Yellow! [May as well re-introduce herself, right?!]

[HELLO THERE PARTNER-IN-CRIME. Jack is very happy (and not surprised at all) to see you here! Wow, Elliot has been making a lot of friends. Although, come to think of it, Jack thinks he recalls seeing her at Elliot's last party too...]

[Oh yay Jack's here too! Or well. Yellow shouldn't be surprised by that at all, considering how he lives here. But anyway. She gives him a smile and an enthusiastic wave when she sees him.]

[It's a bit of a rhetorical question, but since Elliot didn't really make a big deal about his birthday, it's also sort of an important one.]
