Y'know, I have a friend who used to have a pet rat. Only that pet rat was actually a person.

Very. Turning someone into a rat is actually a pretty low-level spell. The problem in this case was that the gal kinda cast it on herself. So it's tough to undo that kind of thing when you have rat lips.

That's... messed up. On my world there's plenty of artes that can kill, but they don't screw with your body like that.

...She turned me into a rat, once. Too. Briefly. Very briefly. It was very very brief, I promise. No leftover rat habits.

Considering I haven't caught you pilfering food from the garbage or hiding from cats yet, I'd assume not. But maybe I should keep an eye on you, just in case.
