Reunion and Time Traveling Finale

Who: Everyone!
What: The time-traveling group returns to find an invasion of newcomers.
When: November 20th and Onward
Where: Luceti enclosure
Summary: Who let all these New Feathers in here!? ...Wait, that guy's familiar...
Rating: May vary, as usual high ratings should be taken elsewhere

The adventure to the past is over; the villagers have all been sent home to their own time. But things are different. The changes of the past have echoed into the future. And the world has responded in the strangest way. Why are so many people here all of a sudden? And why are their memories such a mess?

Who really knows?

[Sokka is in his room tidying up. It's shocking how much dust can accumulate in a place despite there being no one living there for a month. Dear spirits, it is so terrible in here. But he might as well do the thing and clean it up. Despite how much Sokka doesn't like housework—and really Avatar House is much more difficult to clean up after than a small tepee at the South Pole—he's grumbling when he does it.

[But that's when, as he's somewhat facing the window as he's cleaning the bookshelves that a certain ninja looks unbidden into his second-story window. Sokka takes one peek at the window not really reacting before going back to his cleaning. But a pause and a half later, he looks to the window and reacts much more comically.]

Auuuugh!
crimsonblade: (Are you really that stupid?)

[personal profile] crimsonblade 2014-11-22 12:36 am (UTC)(link)
[Nel watches the dark-haired young man for a minute, hoping to catch his attention. What she gets is...something unexpected. If she wasn't hanging on for dear life, she might put her hands on her hips and laugh at him, but she kinda can't.

Instead, she taps on the window and continues to look calmly at him with her green eyes. However, she does let a smile tug at the corner of her lips.]

Excuse me. Are you done yet?
theideaguy: (annoyed)

[personal profile] theideaguy 2014-11-22 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
[The tap on the window and the greeting is... unexpected, and it only makes Sokka's eyes go just a little bit wider. Most people would just, you know, come to the front door if they wanted inside?]

Well, not really, but...

[Despite how bad an idea it is, and despite how sinking a feeling he is getting in his gut, Sokka comes over and opens the window, sliding the inner panel up.]

What in the world are you doing outside on top of our house!?
crimsonblade: (I dodged you.)

[personal profile] crimsonblade 2014-11-22 03:21 am (UTC)(link)
[She bites back another laugh at the boy and continues to hang upside down, her hands keeping her grip tight so she doesn't fall.

Even with the window open, she doesn't want to try and enter his house. It would mean possibly kicking him in the face...And that probably wouldn't do much in the way of fostering goodwill with a fellow resident of Luceti.]

Well, I'm supposed to be on a ship in space. Instead I'm back here, on your roof.
theideaguy: (totally innocent)

[personal profile] theideaguy 2014-11-25 06:11 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, you're another one of those spaceship types too? [Sokka seems actually rather intrigued by this, especially after he's see one of those spaceship things simulated in the Battle Dome. It sounded practically unreal, but he'd gotten used to "unreal" things here.] Well, welcome to Avatar House? I assure you, the roof isn't all that exciting. Not really much you can do up there. Probably a lot less exciting than a space ship, for sure.

Thooooooough, you want to come in? I can't imagine hanging upside down like that is going to be all that... uhm, comfortable...
crimsonblade: (Look up asshole)

[personal profile] crimsonblade 2014-11-25 09:53 pm (UTC)(link)
Not really. My planet had never even considered space exploration until Fayt and Cliff showed up with the Vendeeni. [Nel had been intrigued, yes, by it all, but she'd also seen the damage the space travelers caused in Aquios and Airyglyph.] Ah, I wasn't sure which house this was, but you're right about the roof not being very exciting.

I was going to ask if I could come in, but I didn't want to presume. I could have just flipped inside when you opened the window, but then I might have kicked you in the head.

[Her job means she's used to doing this. Comfort means nothing, Sokka.]
theideaguy: (totally innocent)

[personal profile] theideaguy 2014-12-01 11:43 am (UTC)(link)
Oh you know Cliff? I know that guy. I didn't... really realize that you were from the same world as him. [Or at least that's what he thinks she's trying to say.] Good guy, really. He showed me his spaceship... or at least a facsimile of it.

[He grins widely. Small talk is awkward.]

Well come on in. Feel free to use the front door if you want. Or the slide into the pool, but I think it's getting a little chilly to use that, really.

[And yes, he's going to back up at that with the invitation. Of course, she could happily refuse if she wanted, but Sokka would just think she's weird... if that thought already hasn't run through his mind.]
crimsonblade: (I dodged you.)

[personal profile] crimsonblade 2014-12-02 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
We're not. [She flips inside easily, landing on her feet and adjusting the scarf around her throat so that her face isn't hidden.]

We're from the same...reality. Evidently, there was a man named Leon who was from the past of our...galaxy. That's the word that Fayt used, I believe.

But thank you. Is there somewhere I can change into my warmer clothes? [Yes, she does have the New Feather dress on and a bundle of navy and gold cloth in a hand.]
theideaguy: (conspiring)

[personal profile] theideaguy 2014-12-03 10:47 am (UTC)(link)
Same... reality? But not the same world? That doesn't—I mean, there are people here from my past... and my future, so I guess that's similar? Yeah, just never mind.

[Sokka's brain just about broke trying to comprehend that, so he goes for Plan B, which is to just ignore it.]

Uhm, well, the Clothing Shop—whatever it's called—is in the town square, buuuuut you might get a little chilly if you're trying to get all the way there. It's kind of a small hike.

You could maybe borrow one of my coats until you get there? I've got a few.
crimsonblade: (I feel pretty.)

[personal profile] crimsonblade 2014-12-04 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
We are from the same galaxy. Across the stars, he and Fayt traveled to crash on my planet. They're from more technologically advanced worlds.

[It's okay, Sokka. Not really a huge deal. Nel will make it more succinct, yes?]

It's good to know that things haven't changed that much in regards to the shops in the village, but I have my own clothing right here. I merely require a bathing chamber or changing stall to put it on.
theideaguy: (totally innocent)

[personal profile] theideaguy 2014-12-05 06:08 am (UTC)(link)
Ooooh, I... yeah, I misunderstood you. Same universe. Yeah, okay. So you do know Cliff from... before Luceti. He seems like a nice guy.

[Sorry, Sokka doesn't use his words all that exactly sometimes.]

Oh well in that case, we've got restrooms here you can use. It's easy enough. Let me just show you the way! I'll... take you to the ones on the girls' floor. Not that the bathrooms are gender-specific, but... the guys only get one on our floor, and the last thing we want is for there to be a line.

[Just follow him downstairs, Nel. He will show you the way.]
crimsonblade: (tatted up spy)

[personal profile] crimsonblade 2014-12-07 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
I apologize. Talking about space travel and galaxies are still relatively new for me.

And, yes, I've known Cliff for a while now. I was once here in Luceti for a few months, but I'm not sure how long ago that was for the residents here. It's not like time runs the same.

[She will gladly follow him. She hates this New Feather dress. Remind her to tell you the story of her first arrival some day.]

Thank you. I appreciate this. Although, I should apologize for peering into your windows like that.
theideaguy: (ready)

[personal profile] theideaguy 2014-12-16 05:26 am (UTC)(link)
Same for me too, really. I mean, all we knew about the out-there place is that it's just space. And there are stars. And... well, probably a few other things, but that's not that important.

[Sokka guides Nel downstairs and points out one of the two bathrooms, the door to which is wide open.]

Hey, don't worry about it. It's not like I make a habit of just wandering around my room naked or anything.
