The adventure to the past is over; the villagers have all been sent home to their own time. But things are different. The changes of the past have echoed into the future. And the world has responded in the strangest way. Why are so many people here all of a sudden? And why are their memories such a mess?

[When he opens the door to the bakery, Beast hesitates when he sees the figure at the desk, Aang's back turned to him. He almost could have sworn it was someone else who was supposed to be there... but who? Nonetheless, they... does he know them?

Adjusting his cloak, he steps forward and just as he reaches the counter, he awkwardly clears his throat.] E, excuse me?

[Aang sees another familiar face and his heart skips a beat. He looks up hopefully but doesn't want to assume that the other remembers.]

Yes?

[As soon as the bald vendor turns, his eyes widen. Of course - the arrow, that face that always encouraged him...]

Aang?

[savedtheworld]

You know me! Beast! [Aang just hops right over the counter and wraps a hug around him.]

Oof! [The hug takes him by surprise but that doesn't mean he minds it. After a second of recovering from the shock, he returns the hug and wraps his thick arms around the airbender.]

You never left?

Nope! I've been here this whole time, and I missed you!

[A blush creeps onto his cheeks.] M, missed m-me? How... how many have gone?

A lot have... [He frowns.] It's - it's been about a year since I last saw you.

[tailasoldastime]

A, a year?! [He freezes, as if petrified, before taking an urgent glance around him, as if looking for anything that may have remotely changed in the immediate surroundings.] Wh-what's happened?

A- a lot of things. Mostly it was people going home... [There's the draft, too, but he doesn't want to mention that if he doesn't have to.]

Then we went to the past and changed everything.

E... everything? What... "everything"?

[He'll get to who left later. He already suspects at least one of them.]

Um... mostly the bad things. Remember the war and the experiments and the kidnappings? Yooouuu... don't really have to anymore, because we stopped all of that from happening. Because people were able to work together instead of stopping a war, now they're an organization that's nicer than the Malnosso were.

[tailasoldastime]

The Malnosso- [His eyes widen.] You remember them! But... now they're gone? Because... you...? [Hold on a moment, he's going to rub his head. Time travel was never an idea he fully adapted to.]

We stopped 'em from happening. Yeah, I do remember them... Do you?

[tailasoldastime]

[He lowers his eyes.] Yes... I do. It was faint at first, but Hastings reminded me. I thought the Malnosso, or that... "cultist" ruler had changed everyone's memories again. But... I suppose it's because of what you've done.

That seems to be it. We stopped that cult from starting. It looks like the people from that time went down a better path than the ones where they became the Malnosso and the Third Party. So... you don't have to remember those bad memories anymore.
