The adventure to the past is over; the villagers have all been sent home to their own time. But things are different. The changes of the past have echoed into the future. And the world has responded in the strangest way. Why are so many people here all of a sudden? And why are their memories such a mess?

[Giles feels weird, with his smaller size, so at least everything would match up in that respect, at least. Though he'd already been easing away from his old fondness for tweed, over the course of his second stay. Even Luceti probably doesn't provide tweed suits for twelve year-olds.

Though Giles can't help but pass a second contemplating that mental image before he shakes it out of his head, the better to concentrate on the task at hand, which includes finishing struggling into the hideous sweater.]
