Who: The Eccentric, along with anyone he meets.
What: Please see here!
When: MONDAY afternoon/evening.
Where: The central plaza, right where the portal was.
Summary: YOU MAY USE ACTION TAGS SHOULD YOU SO DESIRE. Characters are free to come across this strange little hologram.
Rating: Uhhh idk. Whatever happens. Probably not above PG.

[Where there once was a blue disc that stood as the "Gate" through which Lucetians could pass through, there is now a blue figure that has the appearance of a poor-quality hologram or a ghost. It's a little old man, and he's very eager to talk to anyone that passes by.]

Hello? Hello! Excuse me, could I ask you some questions?

Yes, a few people. It didn't do what it had promised.
inabook: (Oh?)

[personal profile] inabook 2009-12-01 01:10 am (UTC)(link)
You're the one who made the gate?
inabook: (Silent fairytale)

[personal profile] inabook 2009-12-01 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
The idea was, but the execution was nothing but a cruel joke on people who wanted to go home.

[it's not said in a tone that implies that she's blaming the man for the side effects, not yet, but she's not happy, either.]
inabook: (Shy)

The choice itself was rather cruel. People had to decide whether they could leave friends and loved ones behind.

But the gate didn't work. Everyone who passed through it returned making animal sounds and drawing... [here she blushes a little, she had to close her journal because of people like Kai] inappropriate pictures when they tried to communicate in writing.
inabook: (Worry)

[monocles and wine? ...She decides to set that aside.] But there has to be a better way! If you can work for just this much then it's always possible to move further...

[but a pause.] Did you not test the gate before trying it on us?
inabook: (Dissent)

[personal profile] inabook 2009-12-01 01:57 am (UTC)(link)
You could test it on objects and animals first, not people. And admit it's just a test in the first place. Everyone got their hopes up.
inabook: (Waiting)

[personal profile] inabook 2009-12-01 02:06 am (UTC)(link)
If it were to eventually take us home and you'd explained, I'm sure some would be willing. Most people here are suspicious because we're only given vague answers.

[mm, this isn't going anywhere.] ...Thank you for trying, though.
inabook: (Yuri what are you saying?)

[personal profile] inabook 2009-12-01 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
[now that's interesting. Poking further...] He?
inabook: (Curious)

[personal profile] inabook 2009-12-01 02:18 am (UTC)(link)
And both of you are interested in getting us home?
inabook: (Nurse)

[personal profile] inabook 2009-12-01 02:25 am (UTC)(link)
I see. [He seems very enthusiastic about this person, which she takes as a good sign.] Does he have a name? ...And you too, by the way. My name is Estelle, I should have introduced myself sooner.
inabook: (Normal)

[personal profile] inabook 2009-12-01 02:33 am (UTC)(link)
[...was that really a direct quote. He also dodged her question, but she decides to try again.] It's a pleasure to meet you, too. What can I call you?
inabook: (Understanding)

[personal profile] inabook 2009-12-01 02:50 am (UTC)(link)
It would make things easier to know what to call you.
