Summary: The next experiment begins, Naoki takes a turn for the ~~crazy~~ worst—there are too many humans here, after all, and obviously this needs to be fixed. Meanwhile, Isamu shoulders the role of ‘demi-fiend’.
Rating: PG-13

[After a moment, a nod.] Mm, it will.

Do you want to head now, or should we stay here a bit longer?

Now, I think...while I'm still in control of myself.

Mm. All right then. [Should she leave a note? She already left House 6 by now though, and no one would probably notice if she left for a few days.] Let's go.

[Naoki moves to stand.] Yeah. Have you been there before? [He's got a rough idea of where to go, but.]

Uh... [Good question.]

...I'm sure we can find them.

I... have a rough idea? I think I've been there once, but... [She went home and all. :|;]

[Nodnod.] I think I do, too--between the two of us, we should find them...

Hopefully before the end of the day. [A pause.] Ah right, if that's the one I found Nu in...

[An inquiring look.] Know where to head?

I think so. It should be the same place.

Okay. Then, lead the way?

All right! You'll be in charge of the food though, while I do navigation. [Nope, totally not saying that because she's too lazy to carry the groceries.]

[Well, then, tucking those grocery bags over his arm.] Okay, sounds fair.

This way then! [You might end up getting lost for a while, but you will eventually find that tunnel. Okay so it was a little confusing.]

[And by the time they get to that tunnel? Naoki's eyes will be beginning to look a little bit red again. Hmm.]

[Ted has yet to actually notice that, smiling triumphantly when they reach the place.] I knew we'd find it eventually.

This is...it? [Naoki's voice is slow and somewhat wobbly. He presses a hand against his head.]

[She stops in surprise, turning around to look at him. That didn't sound good.] Naoki?

[A crackle of energy rips at the ground under Naoki's feet for a moment and he grimaces. But he takes a step forward to head into the tunnels, hand still gripping at his head.]

[She nearly takes a step back in surprise but quickly steels herself. No, she should not show fear. It might just encourage that demon to...] Come on, let's go in. [She comes over, hoping she could at least take his hand so she can lead him in. It'll be easier to attempt dragging him despite strength difference if she has a hold on him, at least.]

Y-yeah. [Naoki's eyes flicker a moment, but manages to keep from attacking her as his hand is taken. He's gritting his teeth hard from the effort to keep in control.]

Naoki, look at me. [She says this as she takes a tentative step back in order to lead Naoki to the tunnels anyway. This would be easier with the complete power cap.]

[Naoki slowly lifts his eyes--vaguely orange but not fully red yet--to her face, stepping after her. He can't muster up the concentration to say anything, focusing on staying himself.]
