Tactical move my foot. [Naoki crouches down in front of him.]

[Reaching uuup and... headlock.]

[Brb taking advantage of your momentary off-balance to let go then run to the door.]

[FFFF standing up--indignant:] You play dirty!

[WIN!] All's fair in love and war.

[Grumbling half-heartedly at him and wandering over.]

[... Huh.] You're not that upset, are you?

No, not at all. [...he's in the habit of overplaying emotions while he jokes around. |D]

[A smile.] Good. Let's go then?

[Grin.] Yeah, let's.

Best three of five? [Because, he's assuming, you already know why he wants to go to the barracks.]

[Why indeed he does.] Sounds good to me.

[He chuckles at that, but otherwise keeps silent along the way, just enjoying the company despite the cold.]

[Naoki sticks close to him, feeling companionable (and maybe wanting to lend some warmth to Ted?) as they head to the barracks, his breath misting in the air.]

[Well, he appreciates that, keeping close to Naoki down the way. It doesn't take long to find the barracks despite the distance, though that was probably because Ted's gone there a lot more often than before, as he did have a goal he wanted to reach.]

[Naoki stretches slightly as they head into the barracks, flexing out his arms in front of him and working his shoulders--loosening up his muscles, so to speak.]

[There was a glint of amusement in Ted's eyes at the sight, but it quickly disappears as they head in. He's going to have to do his own bouts of stretching as well.]

[Naoki goes about finishing up his stretching inside, humming a bit and giving the air a few practice punches. It's been a little bit since his last fight--and hey. He's not supposed to hold back, right?]

[Not at all. Once Ted's lost the extra layers of clothes, back to the basic shirt and pants and all, he starts stretching as well. As soon as he's done with that, he swings the bo staff around experimentally, getting used to it's weight for battle purposes.]

[Naoki watches curiously out of the corner of his eye as he goes through some punches, at last pausing and giving his body another stretch. He turns a bright, rather expectant, look on Ted right about here.]

[Once he's done with that, he turns to face Naoki, grinning widely.] Don't go holding back on me now, all right?

Hey--I said I wouldn't last time, yeah? [Naoki turns as well, shifting his stance and raising his fists.]

Good to know. Think fast! [Ted quickly rushes forward, aiming to jab Naoki with the staff in the torso.]

Whoa-- [Naoki takes a quick hopping step backward to avoid that jab, twisting his body to the left. And his fist is raising as he aims a punch toward Ted's shoulder.]
