Thank you, adrenalin. She snaps her teeth shut on the scream as she sees the dragon's jaw swing close and flings herself out of its reach.

Yuber's blade carves a line across her back and she falls, sliding in the charred corn and coming to a stop-- a highly visible stop-- a few feet away. It hurts. She's had worse. But it's pilingup--

--oh. There's her storm, right on cue. At least she's on the ground already. Have fun with that]

[If Minato can help it, no soldier will get anywhere close to being in knife range. Any who try will get a glimpse of a Persona followed by a blast of fire, lightning, or ice. Of course, his ammo is mental, not physical like Keiichi's, so as the day wears on he will have to take breaks. But for now, he's all right.]

[But she's more focused on Archie's condition. Sayo sees the blood, and nods.]

Jack-san, we should stop by that barn for a moment. I'm growing a little thirsty, so it would be nice to see if there's any water there...

[He can't keep this up, going along like this.]

[He notices that blood too and nods, cutting in the direction of the barn instead.]

He's going to need stitched up sooner rather than later. You got any needle and thread in that kit of yours?

[Jack may not be a medic, but he's lived a long and interesting life. Before he got his rapid healing, he used to have to stitch his own wounds up.]

[and Yuber notices the storm appear out of the corner of his eye. Considering Nu was over there and he knows she doesn't do well with lightning the only option was to go over there and get her out of range.

So he leaves the dragon where it is. With Nami now being visible it should be able to finish her off with a bite or two. He'll teleport over to where Nu is and get her out of range of the storm as best as he can.]

Asbel's first priority was to defend Richard. The man was ill, and yet they expected him to fight? There wasn't much to be done about that, though. Asbel swore to protect Richard no matter what, and if that meant doing it literally, in the heat of battle, then... so be it.]

With a cry of "Reaper Knock!", he whacks a baseball with utmost precision square at the Shifter, aiming to knock them out, or at least throw off their concentration long enough to give Rita her magic back.]

Unfortunately, that barrier of hers really doesn't last long enough to deal with a thunderstorm like that - while it does minimize the harm for the few few seconds, it runs out soon enough, actually leaving her more susceptible to the the thunderstorm. [Archie's breathing hitches again, the only sign besides the tension and pallor that he is EXTREMELY uncomfortable. He touches the bloodied bandages gently, resisting the urge to press down.]

[Nami, you forgot something. There's still a very large dragon who would much appreciate making you its next meal. It will be using those very large teeth that it has to grab her and bite. To the dragon, Nami makes a very tasty snack indeed. Hope you didn't need those bones and internal organs or your wings or anything there Nami.

As far as the demon goes, since he successfully got Nu out of danger and Nami is being handled by the dragon, he'll be quickly using a Kindness Drops rune scroll to deal with what damage he got. Yeah, the lightning hurt him, but it's nothing compared to what it would have done to Nu if she remained there and he knows it. The scroll deals with those injuries fast enough.]

[...a death god. Yue would say that's impossible, but he's already run into some other impossibilities in his time here, so perhaps it deserves consideration. Not that his facial expression changes as he does consider it, of course.]

[That would be good for the wound, she remembers as they close in toward the barn. Stitching is good.]

[She hadn't forgotten it. She just didn't have any choices left.

Which means the only thing she can do is try and use the climatact as a wedge, a barrier, a -- something, try and stop it, anything. And it's nowhere near enough. The end of the staff rams home in its mouth, but the teeth snap shut anyway-- she's just not strong enough to keep a gigantic bone jaw open. Maybe the best she can do is stop it from killing her outright.

Teeth crunch into bone and she's screaming. But she still rams the climatact in as far as it will go and sends as much electricity flaring into its mouth as she's got.]

[Having Minato there is definitively a great help and having gotten over the Persona issue is another help. Then again in the middle of a fight it's not as if Keiichi has time to check if someone is shooting at themselves or at the enemies. And the sound of guns and other weapons being fired as well as other war-sounds fill his ears so he can't focus on anything but bringing down the enemies.

His ammo is physical and he takes the medicine properly... But a battlefield is full of stress even in this position. The stress builds up, eventually even he will have to take breaks and keep himself with the non-combatants to relax a bit while Minato keeps fighting. But not yet, he can still go on a bit more, right?

He can shoot at another enemy. Just one more. He's still fine. It doesn't itch at all.]

[Well, thankfully for Nami, the Bone Dragon and magic do not mix very well and that lightning in its mouth hurts a lot.

It's mouth opens and Nami will fall out of it at that point and onto the ground. Probably not going to feel good to hit the ground like that, but better than being eaten.

The dragon will roar out in pain and then attempt to claw at Nami to finish off the job it started.

Yuber may not be close by, but he definitely heard that scream from Nami and found it quite enjoyable. He knows the girl won't last longer against his dragon and that makes him quite excited.]

[A blast of fire takes out the next enemy. Minato ignores the scream and glances over at Keiichi in the lull. It's the in-between times that are the worst, not knowing when the next wave will appear.]

[They are the worst, he can't relax fully but he can still relax a bit so he doesn't complain too much. They become quite welcomed when he's at the point of wondering "how many are there left?". Still he smiles, he's stressed and tired but he's holding fine and he's not being suspicious of his own shadow yet.]
