Her first move involves shifting the earth beneath the soldier so that he sinks up to his knees, trapping him on the spot for the time being. Deciding that this isn't enough of a deterrence she proceeds to sing softly, summoning up a half barrier of earth around Masaomi so that the incoming soldier could touch him as she finally reaches the threat, switching her weapon from the pipe to one of her knives as she engaged in combat with him.

Every time the blade contacts flesh the hungry look on her face grows, a hint of a smile appearing when she took note of the spear he wields. It was nothing against a close range fighter craving blood, feeling the thrill of knowing she's protecting Masaomi and Frey even as more soldiers approach. She would slice every one of them to pieces.]

[Yes, it was good that it was a small group, but they still needed to be careful. The cyclone vanished as the magic ended thankfully not due to a Shifter being around. Asad could see the others now and they were having trouble flying for the time being. Good, that was what he needed if the Mark hadn't killed them.

And the boy obviously had some form of Mage Arts, not something familiar, but at least he wasn't a non-combatant. That wheat was a good cover for someone small at least, and a good spot to stay. Asad will close the distance between the ones still moving to attack them with his sword. He'll quickly use Masterpiece to ensure he deals a mortal blow to the nearest one.]
