[Flynn, unaffected by the experiment for the time-being, found it odd to see someone he didn't recognize sitting outside of the house. So, as he was leaving the house for the day, he decided to stop by the person to see why they chose to sit there, of all places.

... On closer inspection, there's some weird feeling of familiarity.] Excuse me?

...!

[That's... admittedly a very odd way to respond to someone. But that lingering feeling of familiarity is only enforced by the action, for some reason. It's like this person's identity was simply on the tip of his tongue.]

... Uh... Are you alright, sir?

[His eyes travel to the pipe, and... well, there's no mistaking the pipe. At all. He looks from the pipe back to Repede.

Either this guy mugged their dog, or this was Repede.] ... Repede?

Rrr! Rrure...Repede. Me.

[That is surely... weird as hell. Definitely something that he would have never dreamed of happening, and now that it is, he's not quite sure how to handle it.

What do.] Repede, you're human. [Sigh.] This has to be an experiment.

[Well... he can sort of speak words, so that's something they could work on for a little bit to make it easier for Repede during the week or however long he's stuck like this.

But this must be horribly hard for Repede.] Have you tried walking?

Walking like me, I mean. [And he walks forward a few steps. He knows it would probably be a little more comfortable for Repede to try walking like this rather than like. Break his human back.]

[Now, Yuri tends to notice it when someone is hanging out near the house for a lengthy period of time. ... He especially notices when it's someone he doesn't know, even if they seem oddly familiar in some freakish way.

So, after a moment or two of watching this weirdo sitting outside the house, Yuri will head out the door and walk over to them.]

[Yuri's no Rita, but he's definitely picks up on things quick. ~~Most things.~~ Really, the only thing he had to see was the pipe -- unless some deranged new feather jumped his dog and ran off with his things, but he knows Repede would've taken a chunk out of anyone who tried something like that. That and well ... the pawing. That's ... kind of a hint too.

And well ... the journal was kind of exploding with screaming and "experiment noooo", so putting one and one together --]

[Oh, so whatever experiment is going on right now just turned his normally-canine partner into a human.

[He sighs, walks up to Repede, and -- after a moment of hesitation -- holds his hand out to him.]

[... Yeaaaaah, that kinda hurts, Repede. Yuri just keeps up with getting him up to a standing position, trying to ignore the--]

Hey, easy! I'm not gonna let you fall -- you can relax a little.

[--... well, sort of making an attempt to mostly ignore the pain that comes from someone squeezing someone else's hand. And also misinterpreting why Repede's squeezing his hand like that. Welp.]
