Summary: People in Luceti wake up as something they weren't before. An elf, a gremlin, a vulcan, or perhaps a mermaid? Try living in someone else's shoes... if they can even wear those.

Then, after Buffy opens the front door, Giles gets a good running start off down the path before rocketing into the air.]

[ so she basically...ends up standing stock still just inside the front door. ]

[After about an hour, Buffy might hear a very loud "crash" from just outside.

A look outside will reveal Giles sprawled on his side on the ground, groaning faintly. He's holding a decently sized wooden box in his front paws, and managed to twist enough on impact so that the crystals inside didn't scatter far and didn't break.]

[Flying is really pretty amazing. Landing sucks. But the dragon rolls onto his front, carefully settling the box on the ground as he does so and trying to pick up the scattered crystals with his paw without scratching them.]

Giles. [ pronounced correctly this time. her face looked suddenly much more human -- stricken, sorry, scared. her hands are shaking and the crystal drops back into the grass. her head drops to find it again. ]

[The more time she spends in the house, the less time she spends wandering around doing god-knows-what things robots do. The less chance she has of getting hurt, and the less chance Buffy has of suffering for it. Giles has already broken a rib today, and at least his limbs aren't detachable.]
