Summary: People in Luceti wake up as something they weren't before. An elf, a gremlin, a vulcan, or perhaps a mermaid? Try living in someone else's shoes... if they can even wear those.
Rating: Not recommended for those with weak constitutions, raging hormones, shipping goggles, or people just too cool and attractive for this kind of thing.

I was told I'm a fairy. It is a sacred creature in at least one world.

...And that I might have some sort of magic.

Fairies are known to be legends in some worlds, aren't they? Though I don't suppose some narrowing down can be done.

[A mental note for later, to make an attempt at a glossary for some of these creatures. Granted she's self-conscious about her predicament, so she'd have to move past that aspect first.] Have you been able to tell what kind at all?

No, unfortunately. I don't have any knowledge of how to use magic, and I didn't want to try without thinking.

That's wise. Even with relying on instinct, you'll want to have some knowledge of how to control it.

There's not much more ceremony to it, then. Nephry closes her eyes and...is asleep. The glow is quite dim, now, while she's resting]

[And so quietly, Raine will continue the walk back to the village. She wonders if there are any better solutions for Nephry, but that might require spending some time indoors as well.

Of course there's her own condition to research, so maybe...

It's not something she's looking forward to. Better to focus on one task at a time, that first one being: getting Nephry to safety and avoiding any birds that might come too close.]

[She's not opposed to being indoors. She's been working on quelling the instinct to go places, but it's only been about a day.]

Nephry will remain asleep until they reach a destination of some kind...and probably even then. She's used up a lot of energy for such a tiny self.]

[She doesn't see the need to wake Nephry, so once the destination is reached, she'll find a place to sit down and rest herself, in some quiet area, still letting the fairy sleep comfortably. Making sure that 'cloak' of hers is tucked neatly behind her--don't want anyone else wandering off with it, after all.]

[undisturbed, she could sleep for quite a while. Raine may have a wait.]

[Even with her own restlessness, she doesn't mind the wait in a relatively safe location. There's time for thinking, and contemplation, which might not come often.]

[well then. When she does finally wake, she seems much more refreshed - the color of that infernal glow brightens to a yellow-white instead of a blue.]

Oh... [sitting up and slowly looking around] The flower shop?

[Raine had dozed off lightly herself by the time the fairy wakes, but the rustling in her hands pulls her to attention as well.]

Hm? I'm sorry, it's just a little detour. How are you feeling now?

Maybe rest was part of what you need. Though what about food?

Most stores don't carry food in this size.

I mean in a sense of... do you know what someone in your position would eat? Any ideas? [Since fairies... have to sustain themselves somehow.] Then you'll just find someone who can make a small store for you to go to and rest up once you've relaxed from your travels.
