[Caesar doesn't say anything to that. He would have intervened if it was something harmful or dangerous that he wanted to do, but this was neither of those, so he hadn't thought it was wrong.

When Albert stops, though, he stops as well.]

...I don't really want to go back home and be indoors. [Albert admits, managing to look uncomfortable in his own skin.] But I'll keep doing embarrassing things out there.

[He finally looks up at Caesar, and he appears conflicted for just a moment. Then he smiles slightly.]

[Caesar smiles slightly, too. He knows he probably shouldn't, because he was sure that Albert wouldn't have smiled then normally, but it was hard not to when he did.]

We'll stay in the forest closest to the house. That way, we can leave whenever you feel like it, and we won't have to travel too far.

[The sight of Caesar's smile strengthens Albert's, and he nods before heading over to sit on a rock.]

You're just following me around, Caesar. Why?

[Of course, Caesar follows him, and he sits beside the rock after Albert sits down. He tilts his head at his brother as he considers his question.]

You're my brother, and I want to look out for you.

That's... [He trails off, falling silent as he considers what Caesar is saying. Part of him wants to scoff, while another is simply confused.]

I, uh... guess that's one way to put it. [He wasn't wrong, but it felt weird to hear him say it.] You're worried about doing embarrassing things, aren't you? As long as I am able, I will do my best to keep you out of trouble.

That sounds rather dramatic for you, Caesar. [His comment and tone are not unkind. He even laughs a little.]

[Albert's tone surprises him, but he definitely doesn't mind it. Maybe he'll keep up the dramatics for a bit.]

I don't think you were sincere enough. [His tone is definitely teasing, which--coupled with the way he is again swinging his feet--comes across as childish.]

[Caesar laughs a little. His teasing seems so harmless, so innocent compared to how his brother normally teased him. ...hopefully Albert wouldn't think of this behavior as too embarrassing later.]

[He snorts. The fact that his brother is actually playing along, too, really amuses hims.]

That's because it's a joke. [But maybe he thought that implied that he wouldn't be very disappointed if he didn't believe in him? Hm...] I guess I don't really know how much faith you have in me.

[He stops swinging his legs, propping his elbows on top of his knees and then propping his chin on his hands.] It depends on the situation. You can be so lazy.

Is that so...? [Somehow, that still stings coming from his brother even when he currently looks younger than himself. It wasn't as bad as usual, but it didn't change what he'd said.] I guess that's better than nothing.
