What: Gardening!

Where: Outside the Welcome Centre
Summary: Finally, the time has come to get Luceti's memory garden on the road.

Early on Sunday morning, Link can be found outside the Welcome Centre - gathering seedlings and seed packets, setting aside a willow sapling, laying out gardening tools. When it's still fairly early by the standards of most people, especially for a Sunday morning in summer, the following message will go out over the journals:

"Hi, everyone! D'you remember the garden I talked about earlier? Well, all the beds have been dug and I've got lots of plants, so come over to the Welcome Centre today and plant something for your friends that have gone home!"

If anyone heads on over, they'll find Link sitting back and relaxing, keeping an eye on the piles of gardening implements, small pots of seedlings and packets of seeds and a collection of bulbs, and a large sheet of paper and bundle of pencils. Across the top of the paper, the words, 'Leave a message for friends!' is written, and Link has already written the first message - 'Hi Vivi, I hope you like the gardens! Love Link'.

There will be snack runs over the course of the day. And if he can convince certain people, live music. Remembering friends, being outside on a sunny day (refreshing after yesterday's storm!), nice food, and music - what could be better?

That's right, what month is it? Oh yes, August. It'll be fall soon, right?

"Hmm...." She thinks for a moment, looking about for some kind of clue. "Do you think so?"

I think so? September, October, November. are fall months. Of course, the thought that not all months are the same in all words hasn't quite occurred to her.

"Oh, all right."

Those weren't the names of the months she used on the Legacy--at least, she doesn't think so--and so she's still getting used to which month here goes with which season. But she's sure that Alice is right.

She stops to think. "Hmm. Let me see…."

Now that I think about it, I don't think they were ever named.

Right. That probably wasn't the best question to ask a woman with a poor memory. Alice gives a small wave of her hand.

Never mind. But you have the four seasons then?

As far as I know, Abyss was the only lucky one in that regard.

This, however, is a question Grune can answer. "Oh, yes. We had winter and spring and summer and fall."

I think that's right. I don't think Vesperia had anything.

So I guess some things stay the same across other worlds.

What's your home like?

Pretty sure Symphonia didn't, either.

Oh, she likes answering this question. "My home is very beautiful. It's very big, and it has all kinds of rivers and fields and mountains. The people there are all so friendly, and they work very hard every day."

Sounds like a pretty nice place. What did people do in your world?

"Oh, they do all kinds of things, like baking and singing and hunting for treasure!" she replies. "Everyone has such a fun job to do."

There's a painfully idyllic sounding world. There's a look of skepticism on Alice's face before she masks it. Things sound pretty happy and peachy there.

Alice would do better to ask one of the other people from Grune's world--particularly Fenimore or Walter--if she wanted a realistic picture of the place.

Grune completely fails to notice Alice's skepticism, replying cheerfully, "Oh, yes, the Legacy is a wonderful place."

Ginia, Grune, and Giles are all in the draft!

The Legacy? That's a very interesting name for a place.

Alice gives a small nod. It's a little strange, but it isn't as if Earth or North America or the United States of America are inspired names. Legacy at least sounds inspiring.

Is it the name of the country you're from? Or the city?

It's probably necessary. XD;;
