Who: Everyone in Luceti!
What: The annual musical rendition of A Midsummer Night's Dream that everyone's been waiting for with the party!
When: From 8:00 pm to later into the night.
Where: At the school gym/auditorium and the cafeteria.
Summary: The big time for the play has come, time to put it on then party!
Rating: G to PG-13 at best.

When the audience entered the school gym, there will be a large stage set up with tons of chairs for everyone to sit in. After all were seated, the play began and everything was wonderful for the most part, there were some minor slip-ups here and there. Yet overall, the play was a success. Once the party had finished and the encores were done however, Frederic came out on the stage to make a speech.

"Good evening everyone, thank you for coming out tonight on this glorious occasion. To everyone involved and to all of you our wonderful audience, it has been a pleasure seeing and being with all of you. Now if everyone will turn to the school cafeteria, we can all dine together."

The door to the school cafeteria then opened to reveal a beautiful nature setting with decorations galore all over the place. There will also be a very large table with much food on it with drinks for guests and cast/crew to eat, drink, and be merry. Tonight is a night for celebration, everyone will celebrate with happiness in their hearts.

[Irvine wasn't at the play, having been too busy helping set up the party. He'd volunteered to carry heavy stuff for Selphie, so he had. Now, he's actually acting a bit awkward and shy, sitting at one table with a glass of punch, trying to act casual with the chair tipped back. But he watches the party for people he knows, and isn't against meeting new people--just not always great at it.]

[Hello, awkward and shy Irvine! Have an awkward and shy Pao-lin.

Pao-lin wanders over to the table because it's got the most seats empty at the moment. She'll sit on the far end of it so as not to impose on Irvine's personal bubble, and she'll be people-watching while eating her food.]

[Irvine's not always great at big crowds, but when a pretty girl sits nearby, he knows generally what to do.]

Hi.

[Pao-lin glances up, startled, not sure whether he's actually talking to her.]

[He's looking straight at her.]

Been here long?

[She assumes he means "been in Luceti long".] Oh, no. I just got here this morning...

[That's what he meant.] Hey, cool! I got here about two weeks ago. I'm Irvine. What's your name?

I'm Pao-lin. It's nice to meet you. [She'd shake his hand or something, but, uh, she's seated on the opposite end of the somewhat large table at the moment, so she just waves instead.] I'm glad to know that I'm not the only new person here...

[He gets up and seats himself closer, friendly but not intrusive.] Think that's the idea. It's a party for new feathers, right? So we meet people, or something.

I guess so. [She smiles, but it's a little worried and sad.] I was also hoping I could find other people that I knew here, but so far I'm not seeing anyone.

Sorry. That really sucks, I know. But hey, now you know someone here, so.

[She nods.] And I've met a lot of nice people [and one pony] since I came here, so I feel a bit better about things. Do you know anyone here from your own world?

[Now Irvine's gonna feel guilty.]

Uh, yeah, actually. A few.

[And here will come the boss to plop in the chair next to him and flop forward into her folded arms on the table where she peers up at Irvine.]

[Playing cards? Irvine gives his BFF a little smile.] This may come as a surprise, but this isn't really my kinda thing.

[Selphie had a bit of a hunch about that but it's proof of the bond between them that he even stayed this long.]

[Selphie can't help but beam at the Sharpshooter.]

[Yet another shy person? This looks like a job for Grune!

So, Irvine. Have a tall, beautiful woman approaching you with a big smile on her face.]

Hello, there! Did you like the play?

[Huh? He's had women approach him before. It's how most of his so-called relationships actually start. But this is random and friendly and not flirtatious at all, like she's just being...nice.]

Uh, I didn't see it. I was helping set up for the party. Hi! Uh, I'm Irvine. [He sticks out a hand to shake.]

[She shakes his hand, her grip relaxed without being loose.] Hello, Irvine. I'm pleased to meet you. My name is Grune!

It's very nice of you to help everyone set up.

Yeah, well, I'm friends with Selphie, so it's not like I had a choice.

[Technically, he volunteered, but still.]

[Grune doesn't know Selphie all that well. They used to be neighbours, and she once gave her a pretty yellow pansy to cheer her up, but that's about it.

Still, it's enough to get her to smile again.] It's good to help your friends, isn't it?

Yeah, I guess. Like I said, it's not like I had a choice. [But he's not resentful. Selphie didn't bully him into it, but he still felt compelled to help. Because...it's Selphie.]

Maybe next time, you could do something else with the play, too. I'm sure you'd have a lot of fun.
