A time for merriment and laughter

Who: Everyone in Luceti!
What: The annual musical rendition of A Midsummer Night's Dream that everyone's been waiting for with the party!
When: From 8:00 pm to later into the night.
Where: At the school gym/auditorium and the cafeteria.
Summary: The big time for the play has come, time to put it on then party!
Rating: G to PG-13 at best.



When the audience entered the school gym, there will be a large stage set up with tons of chairs for everyone to sit in. After all were seated, the play began and everything was wonderful for the most part, there were some minor slip-ups here and there. Yet overall, the play was a success. Once the party had finished and the encores were done however, Frederic came out on the stage to make a speech.

"Good evening everyone, thank you for coming out tonight on this glorious occasion. To everyone involved and to all of you our wonderful audience, it has been a pleasure seeing and being with all of you. Now if everyone will turn to the school cafeteria, we can all dine together."

The door to the school cafeteria then opened to reveal a beautiful nature setting with decorations galore all over the place. There will also be a very large table with much food on it with drinks for guests and cast/crew to eat, drink, and be merry. Tonight is a night for celebration, everyone will celebrate with happiness in their hearts.

At some point, Grune will join him at his table.

"Hello, Helios! Those sweets look very good."

[folklorist]

And Helios will greet Grune with a characteristic smile.

"Oh, hello Grune. Would you like some?"

She beams right back at him. "Oh, that would be very nice. Thank you!"

Carefully, she selects a chocolate from his plate and takes a small bite. "This is very good."

[folklorist]

A return smile from him. "They are, aren't they? My compliments to the chef."

Helios nods. "You did a wonderful job on the display."

Somehow, her smile manages to grow. "Oh, thank you! Painting all the flowers was a lot of fun.

"Did you do anything for the play?"

[folklorist]

Somehow. And Helios just nods enthusiastically. "It did look like it would be. I've never done anything quite like this before. Hardwork, yes, but in the end it was all rather enjoyable. Everyone seemed to like it at least."

He'll take his own chocolate and make a pleased noise as he tastes it. He blinks looking back at Grune. "Oh! Yes. I um helped with the special effects."

"Special effects?"

Grune didn't follow a lot of the play. But at least she enjoyed herself?

[folklorist]

"Yes you know. The lighting, fog, anything else that would hard to visualize without magic. Or anything hard to visualize without, um, technology." Though he really doesn't know anything about that end of the spectrum.

"Oh, my, that must have been very difficult," she says admiringly.

Helios is so smart!

[folklorist]

A sheepish laugh from him Grune.

"Oh-Oh no it, it wasn't really. S-Simple things, you know? Most of it was just simple things anyone could have done." Helios is rather modest but he does appreciate the kind words Grune.

"Have you had anything to eat yet? I-I was just about to go get something else. If, if you'd like anything I could pick it up?"

"Oh, that would be very nice." After all, she wouldn't want to take any more sweets from him. It would be better if she had her own. "Why don't we go together?"

[folklorist]

Helios nods getting up from his seat. "I'd love to. Lead the way."

Or that might be a bad idea, but at least the buffet tables are just over there in front of them.

"All right." And then Grune stands there and…looks around.

Now where were those sweets again?

[folklorist]

Helios smiles. Oh Grune what are we going to do with you. The lack of knowing which way to go is quite endearing all things aside. He'll lightly touch her arm indicating the long tables off to the left of where they're standing. Each one lined with food and the like.

"This way Grune." Just keeping up that smile.

She smiles back and goes where she's guided. She's used to it. "Oh, thank you, Helios."

[folklorist]

"Oh no need for that, Grune." He waves her off with a smile.

"Now the tricky part is choosing what to eat." Hm he has his contemplative face on. So many sweets, not enough space.

[lostinmyway]

"Yes, there are so many nice things to eat here, aren't there?" she agrees, surveying the spread. Should she pick the brownies? But the cookies look very good. Hmmm....

[folklorist]

"It's very hard to choose. I'm not sure which to try next." Cookies, brownies, cake. So many choices...not enough space.

"We could each pick something different and share it?" This is obviously a group effort, you know, because sweets are serious business.

[lostinmyway]

This would be a very good idea, except Grune is one of the least decisive people ever.

"All right." She considers her options. "Now let me see…."

[folklorist]

Helios will be contemplating all too seriously. So many options...so many choices. He looks back at Grune and then back at the table and then Grune again.

"We should try one of everything." There problem solved!

Problem solved indeed!

Grune smiles, pleased with Helios' solution. "That's a good idea. I'm sure we'll be able to find something we like that way."
