A time for merriment and laughter

Who: Everyone in Luceti!
What: The annual musical rendition of A Midsummer Night's Dream that everyone's been waiting for with the party!
When: From 8:00 pm to later into the night.
Where: At the school gym/auditorium and the cafeteria.
Summary: The big time for the play has come, time to put it on then party!
Rating: G to PG-13 at best.



When the audience entered the school gym, there will be a large stage set up with tons of chairs for everyone to sit in. After all were seated, the play began and everything was wonderful for the most part, there were some minor slip-ups here and there. Yet overall, the play was a success. Once the party had finished and the encores were done however, Frederic came out on the stage to make a speech.

"Good evening everyone, thank you for coming out tonight on this glorious occasion. To everyone involved and to all of you our wonderful audience, it has been a pleasure seeing and being with all of you. Now if everyone will turn to the school cafeteria, we can all dine together."

The door to the school cafeteria then opened to reveal a beautiful nature setting with decorations galore all over the place. There will also be a very large table with much food on it with drinks for guests and cast/crew to eat, drink, and be merry. Tonight is a night for celebration, everyone will celebrate with happiness in their hearts.

You may person watch this derp Pao-lin. Helios is actually going back to his table when he stumbles slightly over...one of those chairs. You'd think he'd get the hang of it by now. But no food on his plate has fallen at least. The same cannot be said for his drink, derp.

Pao-lin's eyes widen when she sees Helios trip and his drink splatter to the ground. It's time for some heroic grabbing of napkins and wiping of spills!

"Are you okay?" she asks as she bends over to dab at the mess.

Helios will make a stellar comeback because this has happened before and he's really not all that unfamiliar with it. Which is rather sad but that's neither here nor there. He looks up quickly from his position of trying to wipe up his mess.

"Ah! Oh, y-yes! Fine, fine. I really should pay attention to where I'm going." He just...laughs, derp. Helios rubs the back of his head as Pao-lin starts to clean up the spill.

"Oh dear. You really don't need to do that. I-I can manage." There have been worse things his absentmindedness have caused.

"No, it's fine!" Pao-lin insists. She frowns; these napkins were kind of thin, weren't they? They weren't picking up a lot of the liquid. "Um...do you think you could get a few more napkins?"

"Oh y-yes. Of course." Helios just gets up slightly flustered and just...yeah. Napkins. Getting some more of those napkins. He'll just pat down the spill he's made, frowning.

As Helios is wiping up the rest of the spill, Pao-lin goes to the buffet table and fetches him another cup of punch. She'll be standing by with it, waiting for Helios to finish up.

He finishes and looks back at her with a smile. "Ah! You uh d-didn't have to do that, miss." He nods in appreciation though.

"Th-thank you."

"It's no problem at all!" she says. "I'm always glad to be able to help someone out."

Helios gives her an appreciative smile. "My apologies. Not a very typical first meeting. Luceti certainly doesn't warrant many of those though." Never is with him though.

"H-Helios Sprensonne. It's a pleasure to meet you miss."

"Pao-lin." She holds out a hand. "It's nice to meet you, Mr. Sprensonne." A small laugh. "Even if it's not a typical first meeting, like you said."

Hand shaking isn't Helios' strong suit. Cold skin that's always been known to frighten people makes you slightly hesitant when it comes to any sort of contact. He holds up a hand, "sorry. Mine are a bit sticky after cleaning up this mess."

He still gives her a genuine apologetic smile. "Pao-lin then. Are you new here? I don't think I've seen you around before." He looks at her curiously before throwing out the drenched punch soaked napkins in the garbage.

"I just got here this morning, actually." She simpers. "I woke up in the fountain just outside."

"Oh dear, you poor thing. You must be terribly confused." Helios gives her a worried look.

"Has anyone told you anything about Luceti then?" At least the play and party have been an easier way of acclimating to just arriving. Which was the intent behind them among getting people to talk and meet one another.

Pao-lin nods. "I met a couple of people earlier in the day who helped me out and showed me the guide. I'm staying at the Welcome Center for now, but I'll probably move into an apartment soon." Not that she wants to stay in Luceti, even with all the nice people she's met, but if she can get her own place, so much the better.
