Who: Everyone in Luceti!
What: The annual musical rendition of A Midsummer Night's Dream that everyone's been waiting for with the party!
When: From 8:00 pm to later into the night.
Where: At the school gym/auditorium and the cafeteria.
Summary: The big time for the play has come, time to put it on then party!
Rating: G to PG-13 at best.

When the audience entered the school gym, there will be a large stage set up with tons of chairs for everyone to sit in. After all were seated, the play began and everything was wonderful for the most part, there were some minor slip-ups here and there. Yet overall, the play was a success. Once the party had finished and the encores were done however, Frederic came out on the stage to make a speech.

"Good evening everyone, thank you for coming out tonight on this glorious occasion. To everyone involved and to all of you our wonderful audience, it has been a pleasure seeing and being with all of you. Now if everyone will turn to the school cafeteria, we can all dine together."

The door to the school cafeteria then opened to reveal a beautiful nature setting with decorations galore all over the place. There will also be a very large table with much food on it with drinks for guests and cast/crew to eat, drink, and be merry. Tonight is a night for celebration, everyone will celebrate with happiness in their hearts.

Yes, I understood the play just fine. [She really didn't.]

Well, perhaps you'd enjoy some of Shakespeare's other plays. He's, um, he's the, the man who wrote the play everyone performend tonight. But he did write several more, you know.

Oh, what else did he write?

"Romeo and Juliet", "Our Town", "The Merchant of Venice", "The Tempest", "Macbeth", "Hamlet, "Julius Ceasar"...quite a few others. He's, um, he's quite famous, back home.

Those all sound very nice.

They are. They're some of my favorites.

...I'm not sure if you'd like them very much, though.

[Leaving aside the fact that this is Grune, he's not sure how she'd feel about outright tragedies.]

Oh? Why not?

A lot of them end, um, very sadly.

[She looks genuinely puzzled.] Why would they do that?

That's what Shakespeare thought would tell the better story, I'm afraid.

But then people aren't happy at the end.

I'm afraid that was his intention, Grune.

...People often aren't.

[She shakes her head.] He ended the stories too soon. If he waited until the end, then everything would have been all right.

...a great many people have come to think so, you know.

Some even wrote new endings for the plays, just to make certain.

That's good. It's not good to end a story in the middle.

[...he loves you, Grune. This is a good part of the reason why.]

Do you, um, do you want to hear one?

[She beams. Listening to Giles tell her stories is one of her very favourite things to do.]

Oh, yes, I'd love to!

[He'll grab the two of them some seats nicely out of the way...and maybe get the both of them some juice...before he starts.]

Once upon a time, in a town called Verona in a land called Italy, there were two royal houses. One was known as the Capulets, the other was known as the Montagues.

[Grune settles in with her juice, ready to listen to a nice story.]

Now, these two families had been fighting for a very long while. So long that none of them could even really remember. But they'd caused a great deal of harm in the city, and hurt a great many people.

Finally, the ruler of the city called them both together and demanded that they cease fighting, or he'd force them all to leave for the good of the rest of his citizens.

Oh, my. Did they stop fighting?

Yes, they did. And the Capulets were so happy about the change that they decided to throw a party.

Unfortunately, a few of the Montagues decided that they didn't like this new arrangement, and decided to stop by uninvited.

Did they want to come to the party, too?

Only to cause trouble.
