A time for merriment and laughter

Who: Everyone in Luceti!
What: The annual musical rendition of A Midsummer Night's Dream that everyone's been waiting for with the party!
When: From 8:00 pm to later into the night.
Where: At the school gym/auditorium and the cafeteria.
Summary: The big time for the play has come, time to put it on then party!
Rating: G to PG-13 at best.



When the audience entered the school gym, there will be a large stage set up with tons of chairs for everyone to sit in. After all were seated, the play began and everything was wonderful for the most part, there were some minor slip-ups here and there. Yet overall, the play was a success. Once the party had finished and the encores were done however, Frederic came out on the stage to make a speech.

"Good evening everyone, thank you for coming out tonight on this glorious occasion. To everyone involved and to all of you our wonderful audience, it has been a pleasure seeing and being with all of you. Now if everyone will turn to the school cafeteria, we can all dine together."

The door to the school cafeteria then opened to reveal a beautiful nature setting with decorations galore all over the place. There will also be a very large table with much food on it with drinks for guests and cast/crew to eat, drink, and be merry. Tonight is a night for celebration, everyone will celebrate with happiness in their hearts.

...that's true. [Pao-lin suddenly brightens, flashing a big smile at Yui: she's activated her "please the sponsors" mode! Because it's no good to look -- or be -- sad at a party. She needs to be strong and confident. She can sulk later, if she needs to.] Anyway, thank you for all your hard work! It was a great play.

[Seeing Pao-lin smile, puts a smile on Yui's.] I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it! I was part of the band for the play.

I noticed. [Pao-lin gestures to the trombone case.] How long have you been playing for?

For about...two or three years now. I still have a way to go though. I'm not good enough yet to take part in the band competition back home.

That's still cool, though! I wish I could play an instrument. My parents tried to sign me up for piano lessons, but I wasn't any good at it. [Maybe she could've been good if she'd bothered to actually practice her pieces, instead of spending all her time doing kung fu or drawing.]

The piano? Oh, I bet Mister Chopin could help you! Ah, if you were still interested that is.

What do you do as a hobby then?

Mostly I exercise and do kung fu. I also like drawing and watching movies and anime!

[She blinks as she registers something else Yui said.]

Chopin...is here in Luceti? The Chopin?

Eh? You know kung fu? [That sounds dangerous! But cool at the same time!]

And he is! He was the one who directed the whole play.

I...yeah, I know kung fu. But seriously? Chopin really directed this? [That's so cool! Though...] Isn't he supposed to be dead, though?

That's amazing! [Especially seeing a girl learning kung fu! 8D]

Ah, well...yes, but this place ignores that fact. It can bring anyone here, whether they were alive or had passed away.

Th-thanks. [Pao-lin doesn't think her kung fu is anything special. She has a long way to go before she's a master.

As for the issue of Luceti apparently bringing dead people back to life...] I wonder how they do it. That's...kind of creepy.

Yea...I wonder if there's anything the Malnosso aren't capable of doing. Ah, but it's still kind of neat to talk to someone you've only read in history books, and Mister Chopin is a really nice person to talk to.

Is there anybody else like Chopin here? People who are supposed to be dead but are alive in Luceti? [Pause.] Are they, like, zombies or something?

There could be others here, but I haven't met anyone else like Mister Chopin yet. And n-no, they're perfectly healthy as far as I can tell. As if they never died in the first place.

Huh. Luceti is a really strange place, isn't it? [She grimaces slightly.] Ah, sorry -- I kinda need to go use the bathroom now. But it was nice meeting you, Yui! I hope we can talk again soon!
