A time for merriment and laughter

Who: Everyone in Luceti!
What: The annual musical rendition of A Midsummer Night's Dream that everyone's been waiting for with the party!
When: From 8:00 pm to later into the night.
Where: At the school gym/auditorium and the cafeteria.
Summary: The big time for the play has come, time to put it on then party!
Rating: G to PG-13 at best.

When the audience entered the school gym, there will be a large stage set up with tons of chairs for everyone to sit in. After all were seated, the play began and everything was wonderful for the most part, there were some minor slip-ups here and there. Yet overall, the play was a success. Once the party had finished and the encores were done however, Frederic came out on the stage to make a speech.

"Good evening everyone, thank you for coming out tonight on this glorious occasion. To everyone involved and to all of you our wonderful audience, it has been a pleasure seeing and being with all of you. Now if everyone will turn to the school cafeteria, we can all dine together."

The door to the school cafeteria then opened to reveal a beautiful nature setting with decorations galore all over the place. There will also be a very large table with much food on it with drinks for guests and cast/crew to eat, drink, and be merry. Tonight is a night for celebration, everyone will celebrate with happiness in their hearts.

"That's okay," Grune tells her, unaware of Kazooie's insecurities. "You can just clean up afterward."

"Well... yeah, I guess." Showing insecurities? Naaaah. Better to bottle them up and pretend you don't have any.

"I think I'd be a pretty darn good actor though!"

"Oh, yes, I'm sure you'd be very good," Grune agrees. She's always been very good for the egos of her friends.

"What about you, Gruney? Would you ever wanna act?" This is assuming Grune would remember the script. And the fact she was in the play. ... Or the fact there was even a play at all.

"You could play like - the damsel in distress type or somethin'!"

"Hmm.... Maybe I could." Never mind she can blow most things out of the water once it's gotten through her hand that she needs to. "That sounds like it would be fun."

"I bet it would! And I could be the hero guy who rescues everyone and saves the day!

... Of course, there'd have to be somebody to get his or her butt kicked."

And obviously Kazooie would never volunteer for that position.

"But that's the most fun part - kicking butt!"

"Is it?" She always thought the most fun part was spending time with your friends.

"It is for me!" Sorry, Grune. Though... honestly, the two are one and the same for Kazooie. Look at her - she's always adventuring with her best friend.

"Have you ever gone on an adventure like that?"

As always, while Grune knows the answer, expecting her to retrieve a specific piece of information from her brain is a bit much. "Hmm.... I wonder."

D'oh. Kazooie should've known better than to ask. She'll get it eventually...

"... Yeah, I dunno. Maybe you did, maybe you didn't. But I could take you on one here! It's always cool to go on a great adventure."

... It's a sign of friendship, Grune. One that Kazooie might not put into words, but that exists just the same.

"Yes, and it's a lot of fun, too," she agrees. "I'd love to go on an adventure wtih you, Kazooie!"

She actually understands what Kazooie means here. If there's one thing Grune actually does understand, it's friendship.

"It'd be the best adventure you'd ever go on!" Kazooie states proudly. Part of her would make sure of it, because... Grune's the kind of person who makes you want to do your best.

"You'd be more helpful than Banjo, anyway. 'Cause you can use your cool magic!"

"Oh, my, that sounds like it would be exciting!" She can't wait! But…. "I'm sure your friend does their best to help, too."

"He was the guy who did all the lame stuff," Kazooie says... but despite that her voice softens. "He carried sick people around and went across toxic waste in the backpack to grab items and... yeah. The grunt work, really.

... I dunno if the Malnosso-guys will ever drag him here."

Her tone might barely betray she hopes for a "yes" in that regard.

Grune smiles at Kazooie. "He sounds like a very nice person."

It's good that Kazooie has such a kind friend.

She almost smiles at that. "I guess, if you like that kinda sappy thing. He always wanted to help the people we met."

... He was a good influence. Just like Grune is, admittedly.

"I did it 'cause it was my job as a hero..."

"Oh, that's good. It's important to try your very best when you're doing your job."

She's glad to hear that's what Kazooie does, especially since her job is so important.

"I wouldn't get some of the Jiggies I got if I hadn't tried my hardest!" Kazooie nods. Rusty Bucket Bay in particular is a very good example of that.

"Speaking of jobs - you do any around here? I mean, I see you around the flowers and stuff a lot." It's a girly job, but Grune's probably good for it.

Grune replies without hesitating, "My job is looking after Fenimore."

That…may not be the answer Kazooie was expecting, but as far as Grune's concerned, it's the truth. Fenimore had once said her job was looking after Grune, and so Grune immediately had assumed the reverse was also true. It's not that inaccurate, either.

"... Looking after Fenimore?" This earns a very prominent headtilt. Firstly, Kazooie doesn't know who Fenimore is, and secondly... Grune looking after someone...?

... Eh, why not. She's seen more incompetent parents before. Liks Mrs. Boggy.

"Who's Fenimore? Some friend of yours'?"

"Oh, yes." She beams. "Fenimore is my very good friend who lives with me in House 34."

"And she... wants you to look after her, huh?" Really, does she not have any better options or what?

"I should meet her some day. Anybody who hangs around with you can't be too bad."

"Yes, that's right." More like she was being kind to Grune, but Grune doesn't know that.

At Kazooie's next words, somehow, her smile grows. "Oh, that's a very good idea! Fenimore is such a nice person. I'm sure you'll be wonderful friends."

Although what Ques, Fenimore's pet Peepit, will think of Kazooie is anyone's guess.

Kazooie and Ques might actually get along pretty well.

But either way, the breegull smirks a bit. "Yeah, I'm sure too. And I'll stop by some day, Gruney - can make a kind of adventure out of it! Sorta." As much of an adventure as it'd be going to another person's house. Even going to Bottles' could be a bit of an adventure, though, and it'd be less boring than sitting around.

Just as long as Ques didn't think Kazooie was there to eat all his food.

Delighted, Grune replies, "That would be lovely! Fenimore will be so happy to meet you!"
