What: Thanksgiving + New Feather party.
When: Evening of the 20th.
Where: School cafeteria, nicely done up.
Summary: There's food. And there's also board games, are you game for some Snakes and Ladders?
Rating: Let's put this all over the board. Strange stuff can happen, man.
[Thanksgiving may not be a familiar holiday to most in Luceti, but everyone understands potluck, at least! Hopefully. Preferably.

It's all done buffet-style as usual. Thanksgiving stuff greets you first when you grab a plate and get in line at the buffet lines (food and drink provided by everyone, Thanksgiving stuff courtesy of the Welcome Centre and Ginia). Though of course, don't think that you have to stand in a line while eating! There's tables and chairs for sitting and talking and— eating, obviously. Reach out and grab a drink! If you get one that's been prepared by the Welcome Centre, it's non-alcoholic. Can't really say the same for anything else brought by others, so you may want to be careful. Y'know, just in case.

Even so, he leads Yotsuba to the rec room refrigerator. It...takes some rearranging of beverages and drinks, but in the end they can probably manage to load the cartons inside. With effort.]

With effort?! Sounds like fun. Which means Yotsuba will be shoving an ice cream carton right in there without any consideration for anything else in there. Yeah, she might just have knocked over a whole lot of drinks. But it's ice cream, totally worth it.]

[And just when Yotsuba's shoving that ice cream into the freezer, someone slips into the kitchen, holding a few empty plates. Looks like the turkey's going pretty fast. Meat tends to be a common denominator, after all.]

--oh! [She knows Giles from the Welcome Centre, it's the kid's name that eludes her. The kid who tasted the cheesecake, the kid who wanted the ice cream...OH.] Yotsuba, right?

Hello!! It's nice you remember me, are you a fan? Yotsuba has a faaan! [Turning around to give Rise a big wave!

...But then the tub of ice cream she had wedged oh-so-nicely into place decided to fall loose and onto the floor...

Turning back and jamming the ice cream back in there. Stay... Staaaay... Good ice cream!

After the ice cream is properly wedged in, she will return to waving at Rise as though nothing had just happened.]

And yes, she did just knock over a whole lot of drinks. To say nothing of the ice cream that's just fallen over. Giles is just going to watch this scene with more than a little disbelief.] Yotsuba.

[Fan isn't quite the word, but hey, this is a kid, she's fine with things. She nods and goes to help pick up the scattered drinks (at least they aren't totally dented).]

[Luceti's luck being what it is, they probably are fizzy drinks. Giles looks...a little alarmed, at this.]
