Who: Everyone!
What: Thanksgiving + New Feather party.
When: Evening of the 20th.
Where: School cafeteria, nicely done up.
Summary: There's food. And there's also board games, are you game for some Snakes and Ladders?
Rating: Let's put this all over the board. Strange stuff can happen, man.
[Thanksgiving may not be a familiar holiday to most in Luceti, but everyone understands potluck, at least! Hopefully. Preferably.

It's all done buffet-style as usual. Thanksgiving stuff greets you first when you grab a plate and get in line at the buffet lines (food and drink provided by everyone, Thanksgiving stuff courtesy of the Welcome Centre and Ginia). Though of course, don't think that you have to stand in a line while eating! There's tables and chairs for sitting and talking and— eating, obviously. Reach out and grab a drink! If you get one that's been prepared by the Welcome Centre, it's non-alcoholic. Can't really say the same for anything else brought by others, so you may want to be careful. Y'know, just in case.

[Alex laughs at Yotsuba's comment.]

Yes, I am quite tall. As for the sparkles well, [Alex looks around conspiratorially, before confiding in Yotsuba.] those are a family secret I learned a long time ago.

Ohhhh? [Stepping a little closer and leaning up to Alex's ear as though she's going to whisper a secret to him.] They're very pretty! And sparkly.

[Stepping back, her expression becoming more serious.] If it's a secret you can't tell anyone! Anyone at all. Otherwise it's not a secret.

[Armstrong dutifully leaned down a bit so Yotsuba could confide in him. He smiles at her comment.]

Yes they are.

[Armstrong nods in response.]

That is very true. And it is a family secret, which is even more secret than a regular secret.

You could probably make... A whole pool of sparkles! And then push someone into it and they would be are sparkly too!

[It's very tempting to push someone into a pool of anything you see.]

Does that make it a super important secret?! [Putting a finger to her lips.] Shhhh!!

Perhaps I could. [They...don't really work that way, but it IS an interesting idea. Armstrong contemplates it for a moment.]

Why yes, I guess it does. [Armstrong smiles and also put his finger to his lips.] Shh is right.

[Nodding quickly.] Yotsuba will even keep it a secret that it's a family secret, so don't worry. No one will ever know!!

[A moment after this, Yotsuba will run off for a moment... And return with a big tub of ice cream in her hands. Holding it up to Alex now.] Ice cream! Want some? It's tasty!

Thank you Yotsuba.

[Armstrong watches Yotsuba run off with a smile, before starting to stand. However she is back quickly and Armstrong pauses. Oh, ice cream. Another smile.]

I would love some.

Great! Ice cream is the bestest of best foods. Don't eat too much too fast though, or it hurts!

[Ice cream headaches are evil. Pulling open the lid of the tub and looking at the contents. Yum, strawberry.

Taking two spoons out of her pocket, she drives one into the ice cream and scoops out a big lump of strawberry before quickly eating it. Here, you can have the other spoon.]

Ah, the dreaded ice cream headache is what you speak of.

[Armstrong takes the other spoon with a bemused smile.

Ah, Strawberry. Armstrong likes strawberry.

He takes a careful spoonful and eats it, savoring the ice cream.]

It's very good.

Is that it? Yeah, yeah! When it hurts and you cry out like 'aaah'!

[Also taking a nice, big spoonful of ice cream and shoveling it into her mouth. A lot of it ends up around her face but most of it was actually eaten.]

Very good! Yotsuba gives it a ten, would definitely eat again.

[And so she does, time for another spoonful.]
