Who: Everyone!
What: Thanksgiving + New Feather party.
When: Evening of the 20th.
Where: School cafeteria, nicely done up.
Summary: There's food. And there's also board games, are you game for some Snakes and Ladders?
Rating: Let's put this all over the board. Strange stuff can happen, man.
[Thanksgiving may not be a familiar holiday to most in Luceti, but everyone understands potluck, at least! Hopefully. Preferably.

It's all done buffet-style as usual. Thanksgiving stuff greets you first when you grab a plate and get in line at the buffet lines (food and drink provided by everyone, Thanksgiving stuff courtesy of the Welcome Centre and Ginia). Though of course, don't think that you have to stand in a line while eating! There's tables and chairs for sitting and talking and— eating, obviously. Reach out and grab a drink! If you get one that's been prepared by the Welcome Centre, it's non-alcoholic. Can't really say the same for anything else brought by others, so you may want to be careful. Y'know, just in case.

[It doesn't seem like he's doing well. It's none of his business and he won't make it so, but as an acquaintance, he might as well see if everything's okay. Caesar definitely wouldn't mind the fresh air, anyway, so a moment later, he makes his way out of the school, looking around for the messy-haired boy. When he finds him, he'll offer Leo a cup of water that he'd grabbed from inside.]

[And Leo's just...standing outside, quite possibly inspecting the Memory Garden a little. There's not much to see when the sun's set and all you get are the closed buds but he doesn't seem to be having any problems with that. In fact, he's almost seems more-- comfortable in the outside cold than in the warmth inside.

Not that that stops him from looking mildly surprised when Caesar emerges and offers him a cup of water-- that he stares at. Blink. Not quite following here, um.]

I'm afraid I wasn't aiming for a graceful exit at all. [You can stop offering that cup, Caesar, he really isn't thirsty. But at least he's....smiling?]

[He stopped offering it as soon as he said he wasn't thirsty. He's already had his own share of food and drink, though, which is why he's just holding onto it for now.]

Unfortunately, I can't. They're good opportunities that I really shouldn't miss, no matter how much I'd rather avoid them.

That's right. In a place like this, you're much better off if you know people, even if it's just a few. With how quickly things can change here, it works out better for everyone that way.
