Uh huh! Not very often, but when we first learned how to make them, Iria and Her really couldn't stop asking for them for a week or so, and we had to go back to town to stock up on ingredients...

Heading inside CH7 now and ascending the stairs, for a brief reprieve from the chill until they get onto the roof. Speaking of which...]

Oh, I guess I should warn you -- we're gonna have to climb out through one of the windows in my apartment to get to the roof. [Smile.] But it's not that hard, really!

I'm always careful! I haven't done it as much lately because it's so cold out, but we'll definitely clear out as much ice as possible so we don't slip. [Don't worry, Luca, if you fall Pao-Lin will catch you in a bridal carry and then you'll be Hero partners forever. Or something.]

Okay, reaching the top floor and heading inside Pao-Lin's apartment. She'll grab a stool from the living room, then lead him to her bedroom. Insert joke here. She gets up on the stool, opens the window, and then peeks outside, looking up and around.]

Hmm, it's actually not too bad. Just give me a moment...

[She actually climbs onto the windowsill and manages to balance herself so that her feet are resting on it while the rest of her body is outside. She swats at whatever icicles she can reach, and then uses her powers to zap the rest and clear out potentially hazardous ice patches. With that done, she crouches back inside a little so she can talk to Luca.]

Okay, I'm going to climb up, and then you just follow after me, okay? You'll see my hand over the edge of the roof -- just use the window frame to support yourself so you can reach out and grab it. [Easy as rhubarb pie!]

[Luca's being nosy and looking around her room a little, from where he's standing by the window-- although when she calls for his attention he nods and tries not to look scared at the idea of climbing out a window.]

Okay... I hope the view's worth the trouble.

[He really doesn't doubt it is, but it's something to say.]

[Compared to the rest of the apartment, Pao-Lin's bedroom is pretty boring. About the only noteworthy things about it are that the walls are painted green (but the other two converted bedrooms in the apartment, including the art studio, are also a nice shade of medium-dark green) and that her bed has...quite a pile of pillows and blankets on it.]

It's an awesome view! I love going up here whenever I can.

[And up she goes! She scales the wall and pulls herself up onto the roof in no time. Luca's turn~!]

[Luca hesitates, peeking out the window to the ground and gulping nervously... then climbs out and takes the hand that is hopefully waiting for him, as planned! He'll be on the roof in no time, regardless, shaking a little.

Mmm-hmm! It's great, isn't it? [A fond sigh.] It's not the same as the view of Sternbild from the Gold Stage, but it's still really nice.

You'll definitely have to show me sometime. [Hmmmm.] I don't really recall any stunning views on Naraka-- although, um, everything was a lot better to see in person rather than in a book... Garam was pretty nice looking from the temple steps though, I guess, even if there weren't a lot of people out.

[It's all a lot prettier from the top of the Tower of Dawn post-Manifest, but-- he doesn't know that yet.]

Sometimes places get more interesting when there's no one out, I think. I haven't seen it much in Sternbild, though -- it's a big city with a lot of people, and you usually have to be out way before sunrise, and I'm usually back at the apartment during that time. [Given that she's a walking taser with kung-fu capabilities, she wouldn't have much to fear from wandering around a big city by her lonesome in the middle of the night, but Natasha wouldn't allow it.]
