New Year's brings images of crowds, and songs, and fireworks; staying up til midnight and watching balls or bells being rung. But Luceti is a different time and place. Whether you're partying with friends or watching the sunrise, what are you doing today?

[Food, entertainment and socialising with friends. New Year's is a time for him to think back and reflect.

Last year, it was to consider his choices. This year, it's how far he went with his fateful decision. To give up his humanity to wage war on God, he don't regret it.

But he does wonder what would it be like, picking the other options.

He looks up at the fireworks, snacking on a taiyaki.]

That's right. [Back at the sky, watching the fireworks.] Seems like the fireworks this time are looking as good as ever.

Yeah. [He nods.] Most people have been here long enough to celebrate holidays whenever the date came up. Tanabata, Halloween, Christmas, New Year...

[A certain festival in Luceti Valley doesn't count.]

So basically any of the holidays we celebrate back at home, yeah? [...Ooh!] Are there any others? Like any that we don't celebrate, but others do back at their worlds.

Oh wow, there sure are a lot of them. Some of them even sound similar to ours. [LIKE SNOGGLETOG cool I remembered one.] I still find it really neat how everyone comes from different worlds though. Some are similar to ours, and others are completely different, you know? [And really cool, like wherever Luke Skywalker's from.]

Yeah, I know. It's really amazing when you think about it. All those worlds out there, other than ours and the demon world. And heaven, if we count that place. [Yeah whatever that's God's place who cares about that]
