[ At first he feels that odd feeling that someone's watching him, which is easy enough to ignore. There's a lot of people around and he has a bird out in the open. Of course he's going to draw some attention.

But when Noctowl clenches its talons just enough so it convinces Falkner to turn around, there's absolutely no way he can't notice the girl with her Pikachu. He's momentarily torn between waving and just calling out to her, but instead he decides to approach. ] ... Greetings.

[..Yeah that staring was probably really awkward and Yellow feels bad for that. But seeing another Pokémon trainer around is rather surprising. And here she thought she knew all of the ones here in Luceti... Welp. Guess not. She starts to wonder if there are any others, but then he approaches her.]

Oh, hi! [...] Um... That's a uh... [..What's the name of that Pokémon again? Hoothoot? Wait, no.] Noctowl, right?

[ Falkner nods in confirmation. ] That's correct. It's a flying type from Johto.

And you have a Pikachu? [ He's no expert on anything but birds, but part of him would feel ashamed if he was wrong. ]

Ohh, I thought so. I have a few friends from Johto, so... [hmm... Wondering if Falkner knows them or not.

And then she nods.] Yep! Her name is Chuchu.

[ It's worth asking! ] Chuchu's a nice name. I never really thought of nicknames for my own Pokemon.

So you just call them by their species then?

[..yeah, may as well ask.] Also, uh... Do you happen to know Gold, Silver, or Crystal?

[ He nods slightly in response, though it's primarily to the first question. ] I knew Gold before arriving here, but I met Silver in Luceti.

[moehealer]

Ohhh, I see.. [It's too bad that he didn't know Silver before but.. at least he does now! Right?] Not Crystal though?

The name isn't ringing any bells, no. I apologize.

Ohh.. Well, maybe you'll get to meet her sometime. Either back at home, or even here. [She'll make sure to introduce you to her if it's the latter..!]

I'm Falkner, the gym leader of Violet City. [ He nods politely. ] And you are?

...Oh! You're a gym leader? [So cool..! Now that she thinks of it though, the name Falkner does ring a bell... At least a little bit.]

It's nice to meet you as well, Yellow. [ And, to address her question... ] I'm a Flying type specialist and the first leader of the Johto region.

Oooh.. That's really cool! Especially since you're the first.

[Flying types though? Hmmm. Maybe she could show him her Dodrio..!]

[ He nods a little. ] I've wanted to be a gym leader for as long as I can remember.

[ He'd have no objections to that! ]

I see.. You must've been really happy when you became one then.

[WELL THEN guess she should..! Or get to it.] What other Pokémon do you have, by the way?

I also have a Pigeotto and a Skarmory, but they aren't out right now.

[moehealer]

[Guessing they don't have names either.] A Skarmory..? [What do those look like again... ohright.] I see!

I actually have one flying-type Pokémon too.

[She smiles, pulling the pokeball with the ostrich thing out.] A Dodrio! His name is Dody. Would you like to meet him?
