New Year's brings images of crowds, and songs, and fireworks; staying up til midnight and watching balls or bells being rung. But Luceti is a different time and place. Whether you're partying with friends or watching the sunrise, what are you doing today?

[And on New Years Day Rin is... looking for a shrine. He actually doesn't know where one is in Luceti, but he and Shiemi (shamelessness) are out this morning looking for one. You guys can run into the both of them as they go about this. Threads can be with one or both of them as you please]

[ Kotomi is on her way to the library, but that's when she notices a familiar person. And one not-so-familiar, so she gets a little more nervous, even if her expression is still pretty blank. ]

Rin-kun. [ ... eyeing the other person for a moment, but she doesn't know Shiemi's name so she just nods. ] Good morning.

Oh...! Kotomi-...chan. Hey.

[...Do these two know each other? they both have boobs, but]

You know this person, Rin? [She looks over to Kotomi and gives her a friendly smile.]

Um.. Rin-kun and I are friends.

[ or at least, that's what kotomi decided and all - so it's her explanation to the girl with a slight nod. ]

[Rin blinks, amazed. Wait.

They're... friends? Really? Since when?]

[You know who knows about shrines? Not Fenimore! But that is who is out here.

In fact, she doesn't really register that there is anything special about the day, other than it not being as cold as a couple of days ago. A perfect time to try to get her pet bird some exercise, since the peepit has pretty much hunkered down for the winter in his nest under a mismatched collection of blankets due to his inability to migrate in the enclosure. Fenimore has decided that it is not good for his health to get that fat from lack of exercise, so it is time to take him on a walk! Flying would probably be better, but the best she has managed is to get him to hop along with her like an oversized robin. Very oversized -- since Fenimore is so short, her pet is nearly as big as she is.

They're sticking to the various paths of the village for less snow to traverse, so they can be found just about anywhere in there.]

[Oh my gosh! It's Fenimore! Shiemi tries to run over her while waving, but the snow can get a little slippery. That's when she slides, trips, and falls all over Fenimore.

Oops.]

[What is that bird- wait, what just- happens...?]

SHIEMI?!

[Fenimore is really not expecting the sudden charge and thus, with a yelp, goes down like a load of bricks.

After a moment of being winded, she draws in a mighty breath to begin expressing her anger:] What do you think you're -- ?!

[Pause as Rin's exclaimation registers. Blink blink.] Shiemi?

[shamelessness]

I'm so- I'm sorry! I didn't mean- I'm sorry! [Shiemi scrambles to get off Fenimore, but she stays close to make sure the other girl is all right.]

[And rin rushes over too. to loom over both of them. and wonder what's up with the bird]

Shiemi- what- are you guys okay?

The more the merrier~!

[Oh look! It's Rin! And that Shiemi girl Yellow was talking to before over the journal. They seem to be looking for something. Hmmm. Yellow waves.]
