Summary: IT'S A SUMMER PARTY
Rating: Worksafe, I reckon!
It's cold out there today, isn't it? Sure, it's not snowing but once you get into the Battle Dome, it'll be comfortably warmer. Warmer, not warm. Follow the tiny paper arrows and you'll probably find yourself in, well...summer!

It certainly looks convincing enough (a pool, a volleyball court, deck chairs, everything that you'd think you'd find at a pool party) and feels convincing enough (take off that coat! Aren't you hot?) so why not not step in? The barbecue's sizzling and there's some nice cold drinks at the cooler.

C'mon in, the water's awesome!

No, it's okay. It's kinda understandable. [He laughs a little] Yeah, it seems so. I know someone that the other little Link knows, so my time's after his and yours. [He is the futuresty Link]

[She kneels down so she's closer to his height, placing a hand on his shoulder.]

[Aww, now you're making him blush a bit. He scratches a cheek, a little pleased] You're welcome, though I dunno whether you should be thanking me...the Zelda I know has been helping a lot too. [He will forever not really feel a hero]

Of course. We can't protect Hyrule alone, can we?

[It really does make her happy, though - even if she sends Link back to his own time, even if he chooses to stay here in Luceti... there will be other Links and Zeldas in the future.]

...I dunno, I wouldn't put it past her... [Zelda is kinda scary when possessing those Phantoms] But I'm glad I can help her. [They'll beat that Malladus yet!]

Goodness! She is stronger than I am, then.

[It stings a little to see how much he seems to trust the Zelda from his time. Could she ever be that with Link? She'd love nothing more than to be close with him... but they would have to part someday, and it was hard to get close knowing that.]

[Blinks] You think so? I dunno, any Zelda would have to be strong when bad things happen. [Bitty's plenty sure that this Zelda is just as strong]

I do hope to become that way, someday.

[She stands, brushing the sand from her legs.]

Are you hungry? There's food right over there if you'd like to get some.

I'm sure you can do it. [Smiles, confident]

A little, I wouldn't mind something.

[She holds a hand down to him. It just seems natural - he's so small, after all.]

Okay! [He's still enough of a kid that he doesn't even think twice about taking that hand. And he likes Zelda, so no reason not to!]

[She leads him over to the grill, getting them both some hot dogs before staring at the selection of condiments. What to put on it...? Let's just try everything.]

This sort of food is so strange. I can't believe you don't even need a fork to eat it!

[Follows! And watches what she does and copies her]

It is kinda weird. I don't think I've ever seen anything like this before. [Examines the hotdog curiously] Though I've eaten without a fork before. Kinda had to, eheheh. [Travelling around as much as he had meant you had to forgo things at times]

[Zelda takes a bite of the hot dog. It's... terrible. Absolutely terrible. What was she thinking, putting half of those things on there?! She spits it out into a napkin immediately, making a disgusted face.]

[He's going to brave it without all the condiments after seeing that and laughing just a little. Tiny bit bland, but hey, it's alright. He's had worse]

Maybe you should try just one or two of the extra things? [He is going to test this out with whatever that red stuff is. Oh hey, that's actually kinda good! Though now he has a tiny spot of tomato sauce on the end of his nose]

[Zelda warily tries another hot dog, this time with only the ketchup.]

Oh, that's much better.

[She smiles over at him, then picks up a napkin.]

Here, sit still.

[Rubrub until that spot is gone!]

Gack- he wriggles a little and laughs, rubbing his nose once she's done] Thanks. [Zelda so nice]
