Summary: IT'S A SUMMER PARTY

It's cold out there today, isn't it? Sure, it's not snowing but once you get into the Battle Dome, it'll be comfortably warmer. Warmer, not warm. Follow the tiny paper arrows and you'll probably find yourself in, well...summer!

It certainly looks convincing enough (a pool, a volleyball court, deck chairs, everything that you'd think you'd find at a pool party) and feels convincing enough (take off that coat! Aren't you hot?) so why not not step in? The barbecue's sizzling and there's some nice cold drinks at the cooler.

C'mon in, the water's awesome!

A lot of people were coming here while I was walking around, so.. .. I thought I should take a look to make sure everyone was okay.

[ There's a long pause, almost as if she's in the process of forgetting it, but then she just.. speaks up about something completely and randomly else. ]

... Is that tail yours, Rin-kun? [ as if it.. could belong to anyone else.. ]

... Yeah.

[His face pales a bit in spite of himself though]

I didn't know Rin-kun had a tail like that.. [ headtilt. ] And I didn't even know it was possible for humans to have a tail.

[...Well they don't, usually. But he'll just be abjectly astounded by Kotomi over here, as usual]

[ There's a few moments where she just stares, but when she slowly starts to realise she's not getting a response, that's when she waves her hand at him a little. ]

... Rin-kun, are you still there..?

Of course I'm still here, where the hell else would I be?!

[This is a loud splash-oriented outburst]

[ good thing she wouldn't care either way if she was within splash-outbursting range.. ]

You weren't saying anything, so I thought maybe you feel asleep.

I thought maybe Rin-kun suffers from nocturnal lagophthalmos.

What does that even mean?!

[And his tail as well as the rest of his body whips forward, getting closer to her in the water]
