It's cold out there today, isn't it? Sure, it's not snowing but once you get into the Battle Dome, it'll be comfortably warmer. Warmer, not warm. Follow the tiny paper arrows and you'll probably find yourself in, well...summer!

It certainly looks convincing enough (a pool, a volleyball court, deck chairs, everything that you'd think you'd find at a pool party) and feels convincing enough (take off that coat! Aren't you hot?) so why not not step in? The barbecue's sizzling and there's some nice cold drinks at the cooler.

C'mon in, the water's awesome!

[Duh, indeed. Ikki sighs, he would ask "why" she wants to see those but...]

[He follows with his eyes where she's pointing to.]

There's nothing there, am I supposed to punch air?

[He doesn't sound sarcastic, it's a valid question. He also starts to move there without really waiting for her answer.]

There's nothing there in more than one way. This is a simulation, and you must be strong enough to punch the "air" and show the "nothing," right?

[That said, he follows behind him, surprised this is working]

Just so we are clear, what do you expect to happen? And I suppose you want me to use all the power I can, right?

Unless your power is going to hurt me standing behind you.

[Anyway, they get to the edge and Ikki makes a noise that is a mix between a sigh and a grunt. Fine, let's get this over, hopefully no one in the party will freak out at the sudden burst of flames that hit the edge of the simulation when Ikki uses one of his attacks... Neither will they be too bothered by the sudden, although short lived, gale that is produced.

The simulation flickers where he attacked, for a second almost seeming as if it was going to crash, but it holds its ground. He eyes Haruhi, is that all?]

[Haruhi puts on a thoughtful expression... huh. It definitely flickered, so that has to do with energy output, right? That wasn't quite enough but...]

[He really doesn't get why you want this but, whatever girl.]

Punch a few other parts of the edge. And we'll check the results.

[He arches an eyebrow but starts heading to another part of the edge to "punch it", and then another, and another, and another... Until she says it's time to stop or he himself gets feed up with it and stops eitherway.]

[And she'll just keep studying them... thoughtfully. Okay, once he's done she nods and even mutters thank you. She needs to ponder these results!]

[Ponder all you want, he will just go back to his wallflower status right there. Good thing it was about punching the edges, it didn't make him go too far from his natural habitat in parties.]
