Summary: IT'S A SUMMER PARTY

It's cold out there today, isn't it? Sure, it's not snowing but once you get into the Battle Dome, it'll be comfortably warmer. Warmer, not warm. Follow the tiny paper arrows and you'll probably find yourself in, well...summer!

It certainly looks convincing enough (a pool, a volleyball court, deck chairs, everything that you'd think you'd find at a pool party) and feels convincing enough (take off that coat! Aren't you hot?) so why not not step in? The barbecue's sizzling and there's some nice cold drinks at the cooler.

C'mon in, the water's awesome!

Grune refocuses on Yun. "Yes?"

Yun won't even sigh. She'll only smile.

"The weather is very nice in here, isn't it?"

"Yes, it's nice and sunny and warm," she agrees readily, as though this were what they had been talking about all along. "I wonder if we can spend some more time in here like this again soon."

"I'm sure we can. You'd only have to ask someone who knows how to use the dome," Yun replies. The other topic wasn't so important and this one seemed more Grune's pace. As for the dome's weather, she doesn't know anyone who could set it up like this just yet, but she's sure finding that out is no difficult task.

That's a happy thought. If she can find someone who knows how to use the dome, she can bring Fenimore here, and Walter too. It would be nice to them have somewhere to swim during the winter.

"Do you know how to use it?"

And having the dome set up for even more summer swimming wouldn't be such a bad idea for everyone else, at that.

"No, I don't, but you might ask over the journals. Someone is sure to answer."

"Yes, everyone is so helpful here, aren't they?" she agrees.

In her experience, the people of Luceti are always willing to lend a hand. Then again, "rose-coloured glasses" doesn't even begin to describe Grune's outlook on life.

"They really are."

So says the general consensus she keeps hearing. And that's not a bad outlook to have, after all.

Grune sips her soda for a moment, then asks, "Have you made lots of friends yet?"

This is actually a dangerous question. If the answer is "No," then Grune will take it as her personal mission to make Yun as many friends as she possibly can. Considering her extremely wide acquaintance...that's a lot of friends.

"One or two, I think." Too bad these are the sorts of things Yun has little foresight into, because in all honesty, she isn't sure. As far as friend-making goes, aren't they supposed to be people she talks to on a regular basis? Would people she already knew count? But it isn't exactly a big worry for her. "Though I've been spending more time exploring than talking to people."

Well, that's a good enough answer for Grune--for now.

"There are lots of interesting places in Luceti, aren't there?"

She loves traveling all over, too!
