Summary: IT'S A SUMMER PARTY
Rating: Worksafe, I reckon!
It's cold out there today, isn't it? Sure, it's not snowing but once you get into the Battle Dome, it'll be comfortably warmer. Warmer, not warm. Follow the tiny paper arrows and you'll probably find yourself in, well...summer!

It certainly looks convincing enough (a pool, a volleyball court, deck chairs, everything that you'd think you'd find at a pool party) and feels convincing enough (take off that coat! Aren't you hot?) so why not not step in? The barbecue's sizzling and there's some nice cold drinks at the cooler.

C'mon in, the water's awesome!

[Score one for Minato. He backs off once she's under the water, though, so she can come back up.]

[CHEAAAAATER. She surfaces with a sputter and a pout.]

Hey, watch yourself!

[And she attacks! Going to try for all that dunking action now herself.]

[See if you can catch him, first. Once she starts to lunge he starts swimming away from her.]

[The miss makes another splash, but she's ready to swim upon impact as well and paddles after him. Come back here...!]

[do your best! He's not really swimming with the intent of her not catching him, though...]

[That's why she can catch up pretty fast— she hasn't forgotten how to swim after all those laps she used to have to do to keep herself fit (and mystifyingly idol-slim). She'll make one last leap and attempt to pull him down to dunk him.]

[And he goes down... though whether he did this purposefully or not, no one will ever know. When he comes back up he's smiling at her.]

Good catch.

[She wears a smug, triumphant smile on her face right now. That was a victory— even if it's kinda hard to tell if he did that just to let her have her fun.

Either way, she looks proud of herself.]

Oh, I learnt from the best. Besides, swimming can be really slimming, you know.

[oh really.] Were you on a swim team?

[Not quite what she meant by the best......

She shakes her head.]

Not really.

[hey it was worth asking!

...Well, she was an idol, so...]

Personal trainer?

Company-assigned. She used to swim for the regionals.

[She flops back and does a lazy float— her famous dead man's float, except that this time, she's...in a swimsuit.]

She always worked us so hard.

Did you like it?

Hmm...I dunno. It was pretty neat having some alone time but I always got so tired after.

What about you, Minato-kun? Were you in any clubs?

A few. Track, the Photography club and Student Council.

[not to mention Bebe's 'Fashion Club,' and SEES itself.]

Lemme guess, she was president.

[It's kind of hard imagining Mitsuru being anything but, though he knows she couldn't have been all three years at Gekkoukan...]

[It's kinda hard to talk to someone when you're looking at the upside down, so she'll right herself, go under till she touches the floor of the pool with her toes and pushes herself up again.]
