Movie Marathon!

Who: Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Arsene Lupin III, Ami Mizuno, Adele Leblanc, Leonardo, Gambit, and anyone else who has the desire to show up.
What: Star Wars Movie Marathon
When: February 21st to whenever its done
Where: Luke and Ben's place
Summary: Luke and Ben have decided to just end the constant cycle of confusion and actually WATCH the Star Wars movies. There is soda (gasp!) popcorn, canned tea, and all sorts of other movie related nonsense.
Rating: PG, same as the movies (Could get PG13? doubtful)

[There was a beast standing in the doorway. Not just a beast. The Beast. And it takes Adele a little while to realize that yes, he is quite tall, and yes, he does look a little uncomfortable. He is actually here, it's not a hallucination, which is the last thing she'd need. If she was seeing things, she'd have to swap to a different medication and work out how it effected her and it'd taken long enough for her to learn how to adapt to this one.

... Right. So. Uncomfortable individual in the doorway, and. It wouldn't hurt to go introduce herself. That and she couldn't help but hear little Fleur's voice in the back of her head commenting on how cuddly the beast must've been, and the nostalgia of that alone is enough for her to approach and offer a greeting.]

Bonjour.

[He doesn't notice the doctor until she speaks, and... did... did she just speak French? Another French girl? That... that's quite different... when was the last time he's heard someone say, "Bonjour"? Feels like years. He never thought he'd miss it so much.]

I-I... he... b-bonjour.

[It was easy enough, if not something of a comfort, to be able to continue in her native language. Adele offers Beast a smile and tilts her head to indicate the sofas and others gathered around for the party.]

Come inside? There is plenty of room for you Monsieur, and we will be glad to have your company.

[Well he can't help but relax around this lady... somehow her being French makes things feel more... at home.] Th-thank you...

[He'll move further into the room, following her mostly because she looks like she knows what to do... does she live here too...?]

You are more than welcome Monsieur...? [She didn't know what it is he wishes to be called, it had never come up in the film and no one here had mentioned him by name.

She'll lead him away from the door and motion to one of the cushier recliners with a high back. Not quite what he'd had in the movie, but it may be similar enough to relax him.]

I-ih, A-... B-Beast. [Easy, Beast... just because she speaks your language doesn't mean she can know your real name.

He quickly accepts the offer and takes the chair, and ohdearhewasn'texpectingittofallbackwhat'sgoingon? Mm, actually, this feels nice... though is it supposed to be like this...?]

Beast, or Bête? [Adele chuckles slightly at the sudden flop backward of the recliner, and offers Beast a pillow if he wants it.] I am sorry, I thought it was one of the ones that had a lever on the side you pulled to recline.

I, uh... [He may or may not be blushing... he's rather touched that she wants to call him "Bête".] I... e-either is alright. [He gladly takes the pillow, carefully avoiding rips with his claws.] I-it... it's supposed t-to do this?

Bête, then, if you do not mind it. [Another soft smile. He'd always seemed so lonely in the movie, and that was something Adele understands well enough.]

It is more comfortable, and a little easier than having to find an ottoman or foot rest every time you wish to put your feet up.

[A soft smile and a shake of the head from him; he doesn't mind one bit.]

It... i-it is helpful... [Especially when you're used to your footstool being a dog.]

[It is now she remembers she should probably introduce herself. Right.] Adele LeBlanc, it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance Monsieur Bête.

[She chuckles.]And quite comfortable. I have fallen asleep in one more than once if let alone for too long.

[So he was right.] You're... y-you're from France...? [Can't help but smiling again - "Monsieur Bête" makes the name sound almost worthy of his human figure.

On second thought, maybe he shouldn't have taken the pillow... talking about sleep makes him almost want to... yes, he'll remove the pillow, he thinks.]

Oui. I grew up in Normandy and spent most of the past decade in Paris, and the last few years in Lyon.

[tailasoldastime]

[He nods silently... he doesn't want to admit that the only place he recognises now is Paris. It's been far too long for him.]

Are you from France as well?

[tailasoldastime]

I... [He rubs the back of his head.] Y-yes... I am.

[fleurdesel]

[Adele offers him a soft smile.] It is good to find another countryman here. So many are from worlds that have never heard of France, or simply have never experienced it.

[tailasoldastime]

[He smiles back.] Yes. You... y-you're the only other French person I know...

E... e-except for... [He lowers his head in shyness if not with a hint of shame.] E-except for... Pilouette.

Pilouette? [Adele tilts her head to the side.] I have met Lupin, who is here, and is...at least partially French. And Gambit, who is Cajun, which is close enough for me. But you are the first fully French person I have met.

[tailasoldastime]

[He snaps out of that bad feeling once he has a distraction.] I... r-really?

Uh... wh-what's a Cajun?

Descendants of misplaced French Colonists that live in America. They have all the love of art, music, food, and life that the French do, but are much more relaxed about it. If you took a Frenchman and removed all worry, stress, and highborn airs? You get a Cajun.

[And this is when the mun has an extraordinary epiphany pertaining to the time period Beast comes from.]

A large continent to the west of Europe, across an ocean.

Two, actually. North America and South America. They are joined in the center by a narrow strip of land, but, they are present.
