Who: Everyone. New Feathers! Old Feathers...?
What: New Feather welcome party.
When: 18th, 6 pm onwards.
Where: Welcome Centre.
Summary: This is a party. There's food and games (if you like) but the idea behind it is basically to mingle mingle mingle. Maybe make a new friend/enemy/frenemy or two?
Rating: G-PG 13 at most? There might be kids in these things, man.

The all-day rain outside makes the entire atmosphere a little drippy, a little wet, a little miserable. But rain or not, the party must go on! Or at least, so the saying goes.

It's a cosy little setup-- food, warm drinks, tables and chairs to lounge around in. So come on in, dry yourself off, have some fun. Why the hell not? The weather outside is frightful.

[He's certainly seen his share of oddness in his time, but a jumping startled pony is definitely different.]

It is a bit daunting isn't it? [His voice is kindly and he smiles at her.] But you look a bit lonely. Would you care for some company?

J-just a little. [Oh, but he seems nice. And she's met many nice humans since she'd arrived, so.] I wouldn't mind company at all. I'm Fluttershy, by the way...

And I'm Jin. It's a pleasure to meet you, Fluttershy.

It's nice to meet you, too. Are you new here? [What with this being a New Feather party, it's sort of a 50-50 chance.]

Yes, I just came a few days ago. [He's guessing she's new as well, especially given how nervous she seems, but it's only polite to ask.] Are you new as well?

[shying]

Yes... well, a little new. I arrived about two weeks ago, so I'm getting used to it... um, slowly.

[jinuzuki]

It's a lot to take in - a new world, a new...life. [He looks distant for a moment, but forces a smile back into place.]

If you don't my asking, where do you come from? I've never seen anyone quite like you. [Not even remotely. The closest he's ever seen would be like a toy.]

[shying]

Oh, I'm from a place called Equestria. It's, um. It's full of ponies.

[She's been here just long enough to understand how unusual that is.]

[Equestria...appropriate.] I see. Hm, I suppose it must be just as strange for you to see us as it is for us to see you then.

[shying]

Yes, it is a little! But... I think I'm getting used to it. And many of the people I've met are very nice.

[jinuzuki]

There does seem to be a lot of friendly people here. [And frankly it would be rather hard to be mean to her.]

[shying]

Well, it wouldn't be very good to invite someone to a party if they were going to cause trouble... um, unless the party was to cheer them up, of course. Then it would be important to have them come.

[Not... that that always works. She's seen it go wrong, eh-heh.]

[A slight chuckle.] No, I suppose not.

Do you have some friends here?

[HAPPIER TOPIC, R-RIGHT? I mean the Malnosso couldn't possibly be so mean as to send someone without anyone from home...]

[jinuzuki]

No...I don't believe so. [Sorry, Fluttershy! But, he keeps his expression pleasant and doesn't seem too upset by the question.] To be honest, that's just as well. They all have things they must attend to and lives to live in their own world.

[shying]

What about you? Surely you must miss home as well, and your friends, too...

[Oh gosh, she's prying, isn't she? She's so rude...!]
