Who: Everyone. New Feathers! Old Feathers...?
What: New Feather welcome party.
When: 18th, 6 pm onwards.
Where: Welcome Centre.
Summary: This is a party. There's food and games (if you like) but the idea behind it is basically to mingle mingle mingle. Maybe make a new friend/enemy/frenemy or two?
Rating: G-PG 13 at most? There might be kids in these things, man.

The all-day rain outside makes the entire atmosphere a little drippy, a little wet, a little miserable. But rain or not, the party must go on! Or at least, so the saying goes.

It's a cosy little setup-- food, warm drinks, tables and chairs to lounge around in. So come on in, dry yourself off, have some fun. Why the hell not? The weather outside is frightful.

[Kitty couldn't help but laugh because that was something she wasn't thinking about asking, but it kinda made sense that it'd be a question she'd get a lot.] You totally work it though.

Names Kitty. [She sticks out her hand.]

[Molly takes it.] I'm Molly. It's nice to meet you, Kitty.

It's totally nice to meet you Molly. Are you new like me?

I don't know - how long have you been here? I've been here about three days.

About the same amount of time. Luckily, I had some friends help me settle in.

Really? That's great! Had they been here long?

Yeah! And it, like, sucks! They're all so much older than me now.

That's got to be weird. But at least they're here? Did any of them come to the party with you?

No! Apparently they're, like, "too cool" or something. [Or maybe because Kitty didn't really ask, and she came to check things out on her own. But, shhhhh, no one needs to know.]

Yeah? [Molly's eyebrows go up, but Kitty doesn't seem to be hurting here, so Molly just glances around a little wryly.] Too cool for a bangin' party like this one?

[It's nice and all, but there isn't even any music. Not to mention... it's a party in the middle of a prison camp. Tends to to be a bit of a downer.]

Apparently not. [She grins.] But that's alright. Gives me a chance to meet some new people.

That's true. Meet anyone interesting?

Well, I guess you're pretty interesting. [You're the first person she has spoken with.]

[She laughed.]

Gee. Thanks.

It must be the hair. [She laughs, seeing how she knows nothing else about Molly.]

So, what's your world like anyway?

Me? I'm from Chicago. Or - well, America. Any of those places ring a bell?

No way! I'm from, like, Illinois, too! This is totally insane!

What? Really? Wow! Small inter-dimensional sinkhole.

That's totally weird. But awesome too. I'm not there anymore though. Moved to New York.
