Who: Everyone. New Feathers! Old Feathers...?
What: New Feather welcome party.
When: 18th, 6 pm onwards.
Where: Welcome Centre.
Summary: This is a party. There's food and games (if you like) but the idea behind it is basically to mingle mingle mingle. Maybe make a new friend/enemy/frenemy or two?
Rating: G-PG 13 at most? There might be kids in these things, man.

The all-day rain outside makes the entire atmosphere a little drippy, a little wet, a little miserable. But rain or not, the party must go on! Or at least, so the saying goes.

It's a cosy little setup-- food, warm drinks, tables and chairs to lounge around in. So come on in, dry yourself off, have some fun. Why the hell not? The weather outside is frightful.

[She still doesn't know what a donut is, but! She's willing to try pretty much everything. So Rapunzel takes one off his tray.]

I would, thank you! [She takes a bite. And yep--delicious!] This is amazing! Did you make them yourself?

[ Don't let Helios hear that otherwise there will be a mandatory trip to the bakery someday soon. Helios smiles watching her expression. He's glad they came out so well. ]

Oh you think so? That's good, good! And yes from a family recipe actually.

[gleamed]

[Well, she wouldn't be opposed to that. She's such an enthusiastic baker herself!

She takes another bite. Yes, still delicious!]

You must have some amazing bakers in your family, then! Mother taught me some she knew, but mostly I...made up my own recipes.

[ Then they should make it a prerogative to go there!

Helios smiles warmly back at her. ] Thank you for saying so. My, ah, own mother taught me really. She...she loved to cook and bake. But you make up your own recipes? That's fantastic! That's certainly more difficult than going off a recipe. I bet they're rather delicious too.

[ A smile. And then he blinks as he thinks of something. ] Oh! And you should try some of the things at the bakery, they're absolutely delicious.

[gleamed]

[Indeed!]

Oh, I don't know if I'd call them delicious, but I think I do pretty well for myself.

[She really is pretty proud of her baking skills, but one should be modest!]

Really? I didn't realize there was a bakery here, too!

What sorts of things do you usually make, if, if you don't mind my asking. [ He is always curious to know about differing cuisines after all. ]

Oh yes! Regal. He works at it. Very good too. There's all sorts of things there. Cakes, cookies, doughnuts, pies, almost any kind of sweet you can imagine really.

[gleamed]

I've always felt I had a knack for baking pies...there's just so many different flavors! Berry, apple, cherry, banana cream, chocolate, lemon, lime...[Ah, possibilities.]

I'll just have to visit, then! [This Regal fellow sounds like someone Rapunzel must befriend. Like she must to the rest of Luceti.]
