Who: Everyone. New Feathers! Old Feathers...?
What: New Feather welcome party.
When: 18th, 6 pm onwards.
Where: Welcome Centre.
Summary: This is a party. There's food and games (if you like) but the idea behind it is basically to mingle mingle mingle. Maybe make a new friend/enemy/frenemy or two?
Rating: G-PG 13 at most? There might be kids in these things, man.

The all-day rain outside makes the entire atmosphere a little drippy, a little wet, a little miserable. But rain or not, the party must go on! Or at least, so the saying goes.

It's a cosy little setup-- food, warm drinks, tables and chairs to lounge around in. So come on in, dry yourself off, have some fun. Why the hell not? The weather outside is frightful.

It's pretty much like school back home. Science and math and stuff. Except there's all ages in these classes. Seriously, one of my classmates is like, twelve or something.

Oh! But, there's also World Sharing! That class is kind of fun.

World Sharing - what's that?

Oh! Well...everyone basically tells each other about the world they come from. I don't think you have to be a student to go to that class. I think even a couple adults do World Sharing.

[Molly nods.]

That sounds interesting. About how many people do go to the school?

[How many kids are trapped in this place?]

I'm not sure exactly, but...the biggest class I'm in has 24 people in it, maybe? But each of the main subjects has two classes, so...like, maybe 40 something? They don't make people go or anything, but...
talentsgirl: (Braced)

[personal profile] talentsgirl 2012-03-24 03:05 am (UTC)(link)
But there are a lot of people who like to go to school in the village, huh.

[...fifty kids.]
ribbonbon: (Aw gee)

[personal profile] ribbonbon 2012-03-24 03:48 am (UTC)(link)
I guess so...I really only go because I don't have anything better to do. Plus, my grandparents would freak if they thought I could be going to school and chose to like, goof off instead. Not that they know I'm here, but...

[She gives a small shrug.]
talentsgirl: (Neutral | Pleasant)

[personal profile] talentsgirl 2012-03-24 05:19 am (UTC)(link)
[So the kid grew up with her grandparents?]

Still, it sounds like a good way to get to know people in the town.

It really is! Plus, it kind of helps this place feel a little more normal, you know? Go to school every day, do homework...It's almost kind of nice!
talentsgirl: (Oooo)

[personal profile] talentsgirl 2012-03-24 06:00 pm (UTC)(link)
[Molly nods.]

Sounds like you've got a plan. And you're even making time to greet us newbies!
ribbonbon: (Aw gee)

[personal profile] ribbonbon 2012-03-24 07:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, I don't know if it's a "plan" but...

[She gives a little shrug.]

A-And it's always good to meet new people! Especially if they're...um...new.
talentsgirl: (Neutral | Smile | Excuse Me a Moment...)

[personal profile] talentsgirl 2012-03-24 08:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, I'm glad I got a chance to meet you.

[But she should probably let each of them get back to mingling.]

Maybe I'll steal the habit of coming to these things anyway, if I'm still here during next New Feather cycle.

Yeah. You never know who you'll meet at these things.

[Pilouette offers another polite nod.]

I'll see you around~!
