Who: Everyone. New Feathers! Old Feathers...?
What: New Feather welcome party.
When: 18th, 6 pm onwards.
Where: Welcome Centre.
Summary: This is a party. There's food and games (if you like) but the idea behind it is basically to mingle mingle mingle. Maybe make a new friend/enemy/frenemy or two?
Rating: G-PG 13 at most? There might be kids in these things, man.

The all-day rain outside makes the entire atmosphere a little drippy, a little wet, a little miserable. But rain or not, the party must go on! Or at least, so the saying goes.

It's a cosy little setup-- food, warm drinks, tables and chairs to lounge around in. So come on in, dry yourself off, have some fun. Why the hell not? The weather outside is frightful.

I will enjoy it.

[Despite the ungodly amount of sugar. Oh well.]

I'm Molly, by the way. Molly Carpenter.

[ Sugar is amazing what are you saying? There is no such thing as ungodly amounts. ]

Are you enjoying the party so far?

Oh, sure. It's the best party in another world I've ever been to.
folklorist: (I suppose that works)

I suppose it being in another world entirely automatically gives it some headway in those regards. [ He chuckles. ]

It helps that the people here are so accommodating and open towards new arrivals.

[A little impressed with your own welcoming committee? Molly's smile is a little ironically amused, but her tone is enthusiastic.]

There's even a Welcome Center and everything. If I didn't know better, I'd have thought I wound up in Disneyland.
folklorist: (Yes I do agree with that)

Like Disneyland, hm? I've heard of that place before. I've been there...once before when I was little and we still lived in the states. It's quite amazing if I recall correctly.
