Who: Everyone. New Feathers! Old Feathers...?
What: New Feather welcome party.
When: 18th, 6 pm onwards.
Where: Welcome Centre.
Summary: This is a party. There's food and games (if you like) but the idea behind it is basically to mingle mingle mingle. Maybe make a new friend/enemy/frenemy or two?
Rating: G-PG 13 at most? There might be kids in these things, man.

The all-day rain outside makes the entire atmosphere a little drippy, a little wet, a little miserable. But rain or not, the party must go on! Or at least, so the saying goes.

It's a cosy little setup-- food, warm drinks, tables and chairs to lounge around in. So come on in, dry yourself off, have some fun. Why the hell not? The weather outside is frightful.

Yea, I've heard they are at war internally as well. I've spoken to Bil, briefly, myself however.

He is a most curious individual.

I spoke with him a little too, but I don't trust him one bit. Seriously. How long are they going to keep toying with people's hopes?

...It's a trap. It feels like one.

[Thanks Admiral!]

I don't know. He, at least, seems to have a better handle on things than his cohorts.

Probably, but I still don't trust anyone connected with them. [He shrugs and sighs.] Then again, I just don't like people with too much authority.

I know that feeling, Lupin. Very well, remember?
redjacketthief: @ starkxravingxmad (smirk-- twisted)

I know.

[Lupin chuckles to himself--why was he quoting the movies again all of the sudden? He thought that watching the marathon with them would get it out of his system!

Apparently...not so.]

Why do you think I trusted you? This situation isn't too dissimilar to stuff you've already seen and dealt with. [It was almost a no brainer, even if he felt the urge to be on his best behavior and keep his nose clean at times when talking to any of the Jedi.]
thefinaljedi: (Troublemaker.)

[personal profile] thefinaljedi 2012-03-25 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
I figured you trusted me because I'm an easy person to trust. Its also hard to lie to me.

And I'm aware that to you, I'm something of a cultural icon.

[He can't help but chuckle. If he'd met Tag and Bink, he'd feel the same way]
redjacketthief: (is this what I think it is?)

[personal profile] redjacketthief 2012-03-25 04:52 am (UTC)(link)
Caught and caught, though I'm trying to keep the fanboying in check. [He chuckles at this--the entire situation was still wierd.]

..Have I told you the story of how this old man and I once stole one of those movies on opening weekend from the nicest theater in Barcelona?
thefinaljedi: (Even a Jedi can laugh)

[personal profile] thefinaljedi 2012-03-25 06:01 am (UTC)(link)
No, you haven't. Did you really? Which one?

Episode 5. Chronologically, that was the second one aired. The old man, Mark Williams, had this constant little game going on to see who could steal something first, or do it the fastest, or with the most style. We both liked Episode 4 when it aired, and decided to play our game when 5 came out.

He won--he always managed to do that! But, we got to see the film before the rest of Barcelona. We returned them, eventually, but sometimes the best prizes are the ones you can't really touch or fence off.
