Who: Everyone. New Feathers! Old Feathers...?
What: New Feather welcome party.
When: 18th, 6 pm onwards.
Where: Welcome Centre.
Summary: This is a party. There's food and games (if you like) but the idea behind it is basically to mingle mingle mingle. Maybe make a new friend/enemy/frenemy or two?
Rating: G-PG 13 at most? There might be kids in these things, man.

The all-day rain outside makes the entire atmosphere a little drippy, a little wet, a little miserable. But rain or not, the party must go on! Or at least, so the saying goes.

It's a cosy little setup-- food, warm drinks, tables and chairs to lounge around in. So come on in, dry yourself off, have some fun. Why the hell not? The weather outside is frightful.

What's a Sebacean?

A species. One which I am... intimately familiar with, and one which humans look remarkably similar to. [Humans seem way more common here after all]

[stillplaying]

[She picks up on that. The way he says human as if he's not. As if there can be other species that are also just as intelligent.

Like the pony she mistook for a muttation.]

Sebacean. And Scarran, both. [The information is most probably totally lost on her anyway.

[He gets a look, something very close to a scowl. If she didn't know what a Sebacean was, what makes him think she'll understand that answer, either?]

[In return, he just gives a smile which really doesn't make him look any kinder. He answered the question, after all, and he was not really asked to elaborate. Still, for her benefit... he flexes a hand before going on] As well, as you took notice, a Peacekeeper. Were I back home, I would have control of a [recent destroyed so not really] Command Carrier. [Inhale] Regrettably, my resourses here are far more. Limited.

[Some of that makes a little more sense. Because that he's a Peacekeeper, some kind of soldier, she decides, that's what is important.

Even more important is to know that here, even Peacekeepers are limited.]
