Who: Everyone. New Feathers! Old Feathers...?
What: New Feather welcome party.
When: 18th, 6 pm onwards.
Where: Welcome Centre.
Summary: This is a party. There's food and games (if you like) but the idea behind it is basically to mingle mingle mingle. Maybe make a new friend/enemy/frenemy or two?
Rating: G-PG 13 at most? There might be kids in these things, man.

The all-day rain outside makes the entire atmosphere a little drippy, a little wet, a little miserable. But rain or not, the party must go on! Or at least, so the saying goes.

It's a cosy little setup-- food, warm drinks, tables and chairs to lounge around in. So come on in, dry yourself off, have some fun. Why the hell not? The weather outside is frightful.

[gleamed]

[She grins, nodding.] Alllliright! Let me see, if I can just figure out how to set it up...

[She spreads the instructions out in front of her. She doesn't have much patience for instructions, however. So after a moment:] I think I've got the idea, and we can fill in the rest as we go. But first we pick one of these to represent who we are! [She points to the little silver pieces.]

[ Ryoji yawns again and peers over her shoulder at the instructions. But he doesn't read any more than her, to be sure, so he just nods and smiles. ]

Okay! Ladies first~ Which piece do you want?

[gleamed]

[She just can't resist that adorable Scottie dog.]

I'll use this one!

[ He laughs a bit. ]

That one's the cutest! It definitely fits you. [ He then ponders the rest of the pieces before selecting -- the top hat. ] I think I'll go with this one.

[gleamed]

[Aww, how nice of him to say!] Great choice! Now for the rest of them...

[They have to go somewhere, right? So Rapunzel places them at random spots on the board. There--now we can pick up friends along the way!

What do we do with the houses?

[ Because while she's arranging the other pieces, he's peering into the box and looking at the pretty colored money and the piles of red and green plastic houses. ]

[gleamed]

Umm...[Again, abridging what she reads in the instructions.] Well, we buy them! With the money. And we're trying to get as many houses as we can.

Oh I see! But... what would we even do with so many houses? I don't think a top hat or a puppy would need more than one house...

[gleamed]

[Hmm. That is an excellent point. She skims the instructions again.]

Well, we...make people pay to use them? [Yeah, she sounds pretty unsure about that.]

Oh, like apartment buildings and thing! That makes sense. [ He yawns and then he laughs. ] So -- how do we start?

[gleamed]

[It does? Well, she'll take his word for it.] Umm...we roll the dice and then whoever has the highest number goes first. You can roll first!

[death_awaits_you]

Okay! [ So he rolls.... and gets a 3 and a 1! Then he hands off the dice to her. And then he yawns. ]

[gleamed]

[She rolls the dice and gets a 2 and a 4.] That's six! That means that I go first.

[Now to just figure out how to proceed from here.]

All [yaawn] -- all right! Then let's begin! May the best one win! Or -- whatever it is you're supposed to say.

[gleamed]

[She beams, grinning.] Right! Oookay. Here goes!

[She rolls, a total of four, and moves four spaces to...]
