Who: Everyone. New Feathers! Old Feathers...?
What: New Feather welcome party.
When: 18th, 6 pm onwards.
Where: Welcome Centre.
Summary: This is a party. There's food and games (if you like) but the idea behind it is basically to mingle mingle mingle. Maybe make a new friend/enemy/frenemy or two?
Rating: G-PG 13 at most? There might be kids in these things, man.

The all-day rain outside makes the entire atmosphere a little drippy, a little wet, a little miserable. But rain or not, the party must go on! Or at least, so the saying goes.

It's a cosy little setup-- food, warm drinks, tables and chairs to lounge around in. So come on in, dry yourself off, have some fun. Why the hell not? The weather outside is frightful.

That could be! I'm a pretty mean swing. We defeated an entire group of palace guards with one.

[Groose is... really surprised. It's easy to see the surprise on his face when Rapunzel says that. He almost doesn't believe her, but... Well, who knows.]

Whoa! You serious? If you really did that, then I'm sure you're a great fighter!

[gleamed]

Well...I might have just been lucky, too. I have the frying pan to thank.

[And she doesn't want to sound like she's bragging.]

That frying pan must be made out of some serious material then! [He laughs.]

I'm sure you would have no trouble honing your skills if you were able to take down a buncha guards like that!

[gleamed]

[She ponders that thoughtfully.]

Hmm...maybe learning to fight won't be as hard as I thought, then!

Yeah, hey, there you go! Now you're talking!

I'm sure you can go see your castle again in no time.

[gleamed]

That would be nice...I'm not sure I want to go home for good, but if I could just visit, I'd be happy with that.

Well, you still gotta take me to see the city too. [He winks again. Oh Groose.]

[She tries winking back, and with some concerted effort, she manages to pull it off without looking completely strained.]

Of course! I'll ask them if you can come, too. Maybe everyone could come see the lanterns! It's a big festival.

[Groose looks a miniscule bit dejected when Rapunzel suggests bringing everyone. Sigh.]

Yeah... Could be fun!

[He says this with less enthusiasm than usual, but still maintains the smile on his face.]

[She tilts her head.]

Could be? Of course it would be fun! There are so many wonderful people here. I'd love to take them all with me.

[Well maybe it's a good thing that Rapunzel seemingly can't tell that Groose was sad that it wouldn't be a date. Well, he'll try again later; don't you worry. :|]

Well, it could be like another party, right?

[She nods eagerly.]

Exactly! I hope they have a lot of parties around here--they're wonderful.
